I am guessing that immigration enforcement is never, or very seldom at schools anyway. Can they prove something has ever happened.

Supremacy clause in the Constitution. State law cannot be above federal law.

Close the public schools. They do far more harm than good.

Protecting the borders and purging illegal aliens is one of the Constitutionally enumerated powers of the federal government.

It’s their job, not the states.’

Since schools are a “safe haven”, I assume there will be a huge increase in 26-year-old “students”.

“All children have a constitutional right to attend public schools, regardless of immigration status,”

Al just made that up.

These people worked so hard under Obama to establish the principle that States cannot have an immigration policy and that immigration law enforcement is the exclusive responsibility of the Executive Branch. Multiple Supreme Court rulings have nailed the door shut on this one.

What goes around, comes around.

I see no legal way to enforce this.

“This bill is necessary because children should not be afraid to come to school and parents should not be afraid to send their children to school.”

If only there was a simple solution for these illegal families...like SELF-DEPORT! There’s even an app they can use for that.

Except that state laws cannot countermand federal laws so it would be unconstitutional.

Whatever, do California schools receive federal dollars? you know they do, so to friggin bad for their safe havens. There is only one reason that California is fighting so hard to protect the illegals in schools, federal dollars are tied to enrollment numbers.
