I don’t have a ton of time tonight-—and will have even less with the English debate tomorrow.
If anyone wants on or off the Canada Ping list, Freepmail me. I will be running it through the election
It’s rescheduled to not clash with Habs game starting a bit after 7 eastern.
It must be happening now.
It is happening now. There will be some overlap, but it has been reduced—and I expect that the audience will drop when the overlap begins.
Politics must yield to religion.

This debate was to be at 8pm but they moved it because of a hockey game. Think about that.
The Habs are presently the only NHL team in Quebec, and the French language debate is primarily about QUebec.
Moreover, it isn’t a random hockey game-—it is the Habs final game of the regular season and they are presently in the final playoff-spot but can lose the spot if they lose in regulation and the BlueJackets win in regulation tonight.
The Montreal Canadians have to win tonight to clinch a playoff spot.
Tomorrow is the last day of the regular season.
Playoffs start Sunday.
Grosse game à soir
Pretty dramatic
My ancestor Etienne de Lessard was one of founders of the colony of New Grance (Quebec)
Be turning in his grave if he saw what these buffoons have done to Canada
Carney is coming out in favour of more oil, so long as it is “low carbon” oil, as long as it is low cost and low risk, which he takes as given in Canadian oil.
What is “low carbon” oil? Is that like “low hydrogen” water?
Still, both the CPC and LPC candidates this time around are arguably a big improvement over the candidates of the respective parties the past two elections.
“The 2025 French-language leaders’ debate...” I’m sure this sentence makes sense to our Canadian friends.
It reminded me of the garbage truck scene from John Candy’s movie “Canadian Bacon”.
Puck has dropped
Quebec is still beautiful. Very rural.
No cookie cutter corporate stuff everywhere
It’s like the 50’s.
1-0 Guhle. Scored.
The self-styled ‘intelligencia’ in Canaduh, often speak of the ‘two solitudes’, two ‘nations’ within one country, one French and one English.
Reality is, the desires of Quebec run (ruin) Canaduh. Quebec dictates what happens in Canaduh.
Unfortunately, because of fear of Quebec joining the rebellious American colonies in 1776, the Brits gave the French of Quebec, too much power. They should have assimilated them, like the US did with the ‘Cajuns’.
As Quebec dictates to the rest of Canaduh, is it any wonder why so many Albertans and Saskatchewanians want to TFO out of Canaduh! Unfortunately, there aren’t enough of us who want out liberty from under the thumb of the Laurentianists.
AB + SK = 51!
Vive Quebec libre.
