Two Department of Defense (DOD) officials are now reportedly on administrative leave Tuesday night amid investigations of internal leaks within the agency.
According to Politico, citing a defense official, Deputy Chief of Staff Darin Selnick was escorted out of the Pentagon and placed on administrative leave. Selnick is a retired Air Force officer with a previous career in Veterans Affairs, per his DOD bio.

At this point we can only wonder if one or both of these guys were responsible for the leak to The Atlantic.
We may never know. But I do trust Hegseth in his kicking out traitors.

The left will spin this as something bad.
But it’s actually something quite good. The lax and careless days are over. Do your job, and stay in your lane. Or face the consequences.
They're getting their regular paycheck while suspended, but that's standard procedure these days with government positions. If they are eventually canned, they can't come back and claim they weren't treated fairly.
Interesting this is happening after DOGE has been working in the Pentagon. Could Pete’s first request been a little help from “Tech Support”?

March 22 (UPI) — The Pentagon is investigating leaks of national security information, including using polygraph tests, one day after media reports about an upcoming briefing with White House senior adviser Elon Musk.
Joe Kasper, the Defense Department’s chief of staff, on Friday issued a memo about the “recent unauthorized disclosures of national security information involving sensitive communications with principals within the Office of the Secretary of Defense demand immediate and thorough investigation.”...
Dan is a long time friend of Pete’s. It might have been a hit job. Dan’s views were a little soft for the Pentagon.
Why are they placed on administrative leave? Fire them! Their disloyalty should be reason enough.
The more of these people removed from their positions, the better.
I have nagging bad feeling about what’s happened today. I just hope we’re not seeing a housecleaning of the good.
