They're not our colleges and never were. The Left trained students such ways for a century and were quite supportive of it - until those same students took that training and rhetoric and turned on them.
Parents really thought that the schools they paid for with tax money and tuitions were going to help their own sons and daughters, when there's no way the elitists would allow it.
These elitists couldn't be too transparent and shut the schools down, so instead they made them useless to outright hostile. They don't want your sons and daughters ever mingling with their son or daughter.
Universities have done far more damage to our Republic, over the last 40 years, than all of the foreign governments combined.
