President Trump issued a faith-filled presidential message on Palm Sunday in honor of Holy Week as Christians around the world commemorate the holiest time of the year. And now there are reports that his administration is also planning a unique Easter staff worship ceremony at the White House with Rev. Franklin Graham as well as Pastors Greg Laurie and Jentezen Franklin.
Trump's Holy Week message wasn't a typical, obligatory, official government statement. Instead, it was filled with the type of language used by Christians, pointing to this week as being sacred to his personal faith, as his own post to Truth Social even declared, "HE IS RISEN!"
Doing what the hermit of Loreto said back in the early 80’s.
Bringing people back to God.

Awaiting Jesus with his Holy Angels to
Break the Clouds with His Saints!
Franklin Graham and Greg Laurie are solid. You must be thinking about the chick Paula White.
Trump needs to be elected Pope. It would be a huge improvement.
I love it! Praise God!!
Awesome! When was the last time a president did this?
I was thinking of that woman pastor Mariann Edgar Budde for delivering a left-leaning sermon during a church service attended by President Donald Trump.
Oh, yes. I forgot about she/her/Cousin Itt.
A pope can only be elected by a conclave of Cardinals in the Vatican. So far as I know a pope can only be elected from the whole body of Cardinals. Catholicism and major Protestant religions only chose their top figures from those who have been well educated in formal training places, specifically in that version of the Faith.
In the early days of our country (early 1800s) as our people traveled westward and opened up unsettled lands for farming and towns, there was a lack of trained clerics to meet the needs of the people for baptism, weddings and funerals. This resulted in some people feeling the call to serve in a religious capacity to meet these needs, people without special training other than serious bible reading and a feeling they had the CALL. THis eventually resulted in formation of the Baptist religion and various Baptist churches, especially in the South and West. Not knowing the level of our President’s Bible study, I don’t know if he would be classified as someone who seriously has the Call. Also I don’t know the present day level of acceptance of people as religious leaders who have had no formal training in one of the Christian theologies, or what level of Bible understanding would qualify for being a conveyer of Christian knowledge.
I think there are many people who have not paid attention to much religion who do not realize that the basic argument between Catholics and Protestants was the nature of relationship between man and God. The Catholics for centuries maintained only the priesthood could facilitate that communication. Only Latin was used in ceremonies, and printing and reading the Bible in English or other languages, could result in a death sentence and execution. The Protestant movement was toward more Democracy (although I don’t think Henry VIII realized that) because it meant every person could read the Bible in his own language, and pray directly to God.
I am thrilled to hear about it. Good on Trump!
Wonderful!
Where’s the video of President Trump himself speaking it?

This Holy Week, Melania and I join in prayer with Christians celebrating the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—the living Son of God who conquered death, freed us from sin, and unlocked the gates of Heaven for all of humanity.
Beginning with Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday and culminating in the Paschal Triduum, which begins on Holy Thursday with the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, followed by Good Friday, and reaching its pinnacle in the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday night. This week is a time of reflection for Christians to memorialize Jesus’ crucifixion—and to prepare their hearts, minds, and souls for His miraculous Resurrection from the dead.
During this sacred week, we acknowledge that the glory of Easter Sunday cannot come without the sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the cross. In His final hours on Earth, Christ willingly endured excruciating pain, torture, and execution on the cross out of a deep and abiding love for all His creation. Through His suffering, we have redemption. Through His death, we are forgiven of our sins. Through His Resurrection, we have hope of eternal life. On Easter morning, the stone is rolled away, the tomb is empty, and light prevails over darkness—signaling that death does not have the final word.
This Holy Week, my Administration renews its promise to defend the Christian faith in our schools, military, workplaces, hospitals, and halls of government. We will never waver in safeguarding the right to religious liberty, upholding the dignity of life, and protecting God in our public square.
As we focus on Christ’s redeeming sacrifice, we look to His love, humility, and obedience—even in life’s most difficult and uncertain moments. This week, we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our beloved Nation. We pray that America will remain a beacon of faith, hope, and freedom for the entire world, and we pray to achieve a future that reflects the truth, beauty, and goodness of Christ’s eternal kingdom in Heaven.
May God bless you and your family during this special time of year and may He continue to bless the United States of America.
Gosh, what an ambiguous Easter message. /s

“President Donald Trump is bringing faith back to center stage as the White House unveils its “extraordinary” plans for Holy Week and Easter. Spearheaded by the newly established White House Faith Office, the initiative aims to honor Easter “with the observance it deserves.”
Trump’s remarks reflect a renewed commitment to American religious tradition, as he emphasizes the sacred meaning of Holy Week and the importance of faith in national life.”
