Don't Trust Me, I'm a Doctor
American Thinker ^ | April 14, 2025 | Brian C. Joondeph

Trust me, I’m a doctor” is a humorous expression that suggests one’s opinion should be accepted without question, regardless of whether the person offering the opinion has actual medical expertise or experience.

The assumption is that physicians are knowledgeable, competent, and trustworthy. At one time, few would have questioned that assumption.

...

Lies and coverups are a great way to destroy trust.

Dr. Anthony Fauci and his cabal lied to the public about the origins of COVID

...

and to conceal their illegal gain-of-function research.

Additionally, it may have been to maintain and protect money flow from China to the pharma-industrial complex.

...

not only doctors who are held in low esteem but much of the administrative class as well.

...

the incessant TikTok videos of nurses dancing in ICUs during COVID.

...

Consider the business and school lockdowns that closed churches while allowing strip clubs and liquor stores to remain open. It was illegal to surf alone in the Pacific Ocean, yet thousands marching together on city streets in the name of BLM or Antifa were considered perfectly safe and healthy.

Masks were deemed ineffective at protecting against tiny viruses until they were mandated as effective and lifesaving. As Dr. Anthony Fauci acknowledged, social distancing was arbitrary; “It sort of just appeared.” How’s that for science? As Gomer Pyle would say, “Shazam, shazam!”

The vaccines proved to be neither safe nor effective. Otherwise, we wouldn't be hearing about sudden deaths, blood clots, or myocarditis.

...

the chance of getting COVID increased with an increasing number of vaccine doses and boosters.

Children lost years of education and

...

Trust lost is difficult to regain.

We’re living that right now. My wife was just diagnosed with breast cancer, stage 1.

We have a strong distrust of the medical establishment and are really stressing over who to trust.

Try the Musk AI program Grok. At a minimum it can help synthesize the research. It has helped me in numerous ways with health issues

Also get more than one opinion from Doctors. I recommend that with even the pathology report

Fauci?? How is this POS still breathing air? There should be international WANTED posters. The beagle treatment should be administered to the “doctor”.

As a career nurse, I can tell you - categorically- to NOT trust anyone in the healthcare sector.

While there are still many that are trustworthy, the whole industry is focused on profit.

Then we’ve got medical ‘schools’ accepting unqualified people to keep their ‘virtue signaling’ up to par...

The medical industry is one of the few industries where the members get paid regardless of the outcome.

In addition, it's one that self-polices.

To make it even worse, they're usually paid by a third party which leads to a system rife with flawed treatments.

Thanks. She’s a great researcher. A friend just went through it (combination of medical and alternative treatment) and is a plethora of knowledge. They spent several hours talking the other day.

“My wife was just diagnosed with breast cancer, stage 1.”

That happened to me in 2014. Single mastectomy, and all was fine — no chemo, etc.

I guess all you can do is pray that God sends you to the people who are trustworthy and outstanding in the field.

Now, for checkups (aside from mammograms), I don’t know whom to trust, either.

Good luck with that.

Thank Heaven for the newer imaging technologies that can identify minute anomalies! And I do mean, “thank Heaven”!

“While there are still many that are trustworthy, the whole industry is focused on profit.”

From the article: “Practicing medicine is no longer a calling or profession;”

I believe that is a major part of the problem. Other things outweigh the professional aspect.

Always remember, any time you hear someone say “Trust Me”, it is a clue to do the exact opposite...you’re tipped off immediately.

How many of us miss Biden and his “true story” tales? Another tip off!!
