p
Communist China been around since 1949....not quite 5,000 year.
I respect the Chinese culture.
I took two years of Mandarin
language classes and their culture.
USA is a mélange of cultures.
Chinese are not, basically there are two.
USA is only 250 years old, China in one form or another
is over 5,000 years old.
My question is this where do most people aspire to live?
USA or China?
I welcome opinions!
China was a bunch of waring states for 5K years that has nothing to brag about. PDJT is older than the PRC and CCP.
Something off topic, but that has peaked my curiosity for years..
The Kanji for boat (slightly different, but almost exactly the same in Chinese, Japanese, and even Korean) has very interesting characters.
The first one (on the left) is a simplified generic boat.
The top right is the number 8.
The bottom right symbol is of a mouth (or human, especially very old kanji).
Where else have we seen anything about 8 people on a boat? (Boat - 8 people/8 people on a boat that is important enough to make a kanji about it.)
China is not a democracy. The People do not get a vote. It is a dictatorship which is run by a small group of people separate from the rest of the population which they control.
And there’s the racism.
Sure,
let the EU tolerate the IP infringement and trade dumping.
China has been systematically increasing its industrial, financial and economic power while intentionally destroying America's industrial, financial and economic.
This cycle was destined to end one of two ways.
The first was taking the current status quo to it's end state where China has become an economic, technological and military superpower by turning the US into an economically bankrupt, debt destroyed and demoralized nation with a hollowed out and off shored industrial and technolgical base.
The second is the US stopping the cycle, putting the brakes on China's economic, industrial, technical and military hegemony and getting serious about turning America around.
Turning America around means getting our out of control government and out of control government spending under control, rebuilding the American institutions that the Democrats and Uni Party Republicans have torn down and rebuilding America's technological, industrial, manufacturing and energy sectors to stimulate the necessary economic growth to pay off our massive national debt.
America has no other choices - it's either turn things around while we still have the strength and capability to do so or face an economic crisis that a weak and hollowed out America is poorly equipped to deal with.
China as it exists today has 9nly been there since 1949.
The guy is emotional and delusional. Trump’s strategic economic warfare is working.
I doubt it. The US is in a trade war with the entire world, China is just fighting one with the US. China is reach out for allies instead of pushing people away and alienating them.
And the other countries around China are angry at China’s bullying ways.
Democrats and deep state rino’s have vested their interests in the success of chinese domination of the american economy. They are being paid handsomely and Trump threatens their source of income.
I would argue that China is not really communist - not since Deng. Authocratic and technocratic yes, but not communist.
It reacted against the Cultural revolution and embraces much of its Confucian past.
While not 5K years (unless one counts the mythical 3 sovereigns), it is definitively a 3000+ year old civilization.
In the same way India is a 4,000+ year old civilization with aspects of the Indus-valley like the image of Pashupati on IVC coins show continuation despite the multiple rounds of people who have come and merged
What is fascinating is that for the first ~2000 years it was a civilization isolate - far from the rest of the Eurasian civilizations like India, Sumeria-Mesopotamia-Persia, Egypt and Greece-Rome and didn't share until the Han dynasty
But, unlike Europe and India - when it was once unified by the, it never completely lost the idea of being "one" - even when in multiple states.
That, having friends and allies, was one of the USA's greatest strengths. But now it looks to be going away
Well said.
China is asshoe.
