Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Riyadh for the first high-level, face-to-face talks between the two countries since the invasion, and agreed to appoint teams to start negotiating the end of the war.

Lavrov said his country would not accept peacekeeping forces from Nato countries in Ukraine under any peace deal, a proposal raised at a meeting of European members of Nato in Paris on Monday.

The Korean War never ended.

Merely, a “cease fire in place” . On the line between the two static trenches where they stalemated.

The battle-hardened Ukrainian army is probably tougher and more capable than all the armies of the EU and UK.

“ Well what section does France get?”

The section that makes the best cheese!

Joke!

The French in 1940 had to think of their beloved Paris.

Everyone knows, whether they are in the Ukraine or Russia, what’s going on with the little prick, Zelesky:
“US President Donald Trump will fail to make a deal with Vladimir Zelensky because Zelensky is not an autonomous actor,”……behind Zelensky’s actions, including his refusal to negotiate with Russia, are “the British special services, the Brussels bureaucracy and the lurking American Democrats who are bent on revenge.”

Give Russia Eastern Ukraine (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_Ukraine) in exchange for America getting 50% ownership of all natural resources in Eastern Ukraine, including rare earth.

France would surrender before any offer could be sent to them.

"The French in 1940 had to think of their beloved Paris."

They didn't think too hard, because the French government skedaddled on June 10th, 1940, four days before the Nazis showed up.

The US and our proxy Ukraine are the losers of the war. Russia just lets them dream that they can negotiate. Sort of like what happened with the Minsk negotiations with Russia, in reverse.

Neither the Russians nor the Ukrainians will accept it so it is a non-starter.
