In response, it launched an investigation, with Calhoun admitting to the district that she "knowingly did not comply" with the rule on needing parental consent to change names in response to which she "received a letter of reprimand

Damned if you do and damned if you don’t.
Are libetals trying to get rid of nanes? Cannot call someone by perferred name or legal name. It seems they are trying to erase identity. Isn’t this one of the steps to communism?

I’ve known normal women named “Frederika” who go by “Freddie” and “Alexandra” who go by “Alex.”
What happens when Alexandra says “I prefer you call me Alex”? Does the teacher need to get parental permission for a simple and entirely innocent nickname?
The horsesh!t unleashed on us by the whacked out progs is terrible.

We had two Johns in grade school.
One was John and one was Johnny, when called on by the teacher.
