In fighting the Cold War, the FBI and the CIA were forbidden to share information. I recall reading about a man who had transferred from one to the other. He already knew the answer to what the FBI was seeking but was forbidden to tell them. Ridiculous. This is the same sort of self-hamstringing.

Good riddance. Between me - a tax paying citizen - and an illegal alien sucking from the government teat, she sides with the criminal alien.
Note that many “entitlement programs”, including welfare, require you to file a federal income tax return. In other cases, you must document your income, and a tax return is the easiest method. The IRS likely has documentation for a huge number of illegal aliens, including their address and employers.
