The supply of many foreign-made goods into the US is likely to grind to a halt as a result of President Trump’s tariffs, sources told The Post Monday.
A baseline tariff of 10% was applied to many countries Saturday, with heftier percentages applied to the “worst offenders,” which levy high tariffs on US goods they import, in two days.
Companies producing everything from toys to luxury wristwatches said they are holding off shipping goods — risking America going from the land of plenty to the land of plenty unavailable.
The first luxury items to leave circulation: Jaguar, Range Rover and Land Rover vehicles, all manufactured in the UK.
“I cannot risk putting any product on the water that might incur [high] tariffs as implemented and threatened by the president,” Jay Foreman, chief executive of Basic Fun, which makes toys in China, told The Post.

Easy fix.
Charge of the tarrif at the time of exit from their country
Rovers and jags are being held back?
How will traffic throughout New England ever form of one of these aren’t on fire in the left lane?
Where will we get our continuous supply of British cars to fill our landfills?
Wow, Marie Antoinette would be proud!!
Bingo

Nope
How will Gen X ever survive with out their Beemers and Land Rovers?
“Doctor, doctor, will I die?”
“Yes, my dear, and so will I!”
Yep, you’re right. We are all going to die.
But they will die first.
And they know it.
Guess who these people voted for in 2024? Not Trump.
Trump is a populist and nationalist not a globalist.
But as the economy broadly rebounds, these people will have their Bordeaux and Range Rovers.
They attack Telsa vehicles, we killed Range Rovers in the USA! Winning!
Nothing there that we can’t do without.
“Jaguar, Range Rover and Land Rover vehicles”
Why anyone would ever buy one of these over priced pieces of British crap has always amazed me.
These continue to be the most expensive to repair, unreliable and lowly ranked by Consumer Reports survey.
Yet people buy these products.
Oh no. This is almost as dire as if Hollywood went on strike. What shall we do? I was going to buy a Jag this afternoon. Argh! Leopards ate my face!
“Yet people buy these products.”
Still owning a ‘68 MGB purchased used in ~73, I learned my lesson long ago.
I don’t think facts on the ground have changed much since then.....
Don’t care
Here in the south, if luxury cars can’t be shipped here it’ll be “women and minorities hardest hit” LOL (typed in my best Rush voice)
Trump killed my Rolex?
Save the Jaguars?
Kill a Ford and buy a Land Rover?
That's ok, Jay. I'm sure the Chinese and the Sudanese will buy them.
