Due to his criminal history, Hunter Biden has agreed to revoke his license to practice law in Washington, D.C.
Hunter was previously convicted on three felony tax offenses and six misdemeanor tax offenses, according to the Department of Justice. He was also convicted of three felony charges related to the purchase of a revolver in 2018.
Nevertheless, his father, former President Joe Biden, pardoned him in December 2024 — despite the fact that the former Democrat president had vowed not to pardon him numerous times prior.
“I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice,” Biden stated at the time.
The decision by Joe Biden’s son was made public this week in a series of filings by the D.C. Bar’s Board on Professional Responsibility, which is in charge of attorney discipline actions.
By voluntarily accepting disbarment, Hunter avoided potentially drawn-out legal proceedings on whether his two previous criminal convictions necessitated the loss of his law license.
He was found guilty of lying on a gun-purchase form about his drug use and possessing a firearm while under the influence of illegal narcotics. He also entered a guilty plea to tax evasion and other tax offenses in September.
According to what its members claimed was “standard procedure,” the board kept the specifics of Hunter’s decision under wraps.
The board suggested that his voluntary disbarment be accepted by the D.C. Court of Appeals — which has the last word on all attorney discipline cases.
In the beginning of March this year, 55-year-old Hunter conveyed through a court filing that he was a struggling artist, attributing his financial hardships to a lack of art sales and the January L.A. fires — hitting him hard following the departure of his father, former President Joe Biden, from the White House.

It’s not lost on conservatives how far America’s legacy media have gone to cover up former President Joe Biden’s corrupt family business dealings.
When they weren’t outright ignoring bombshell developments documenting Joe’s involvement in the family’s money-making operation, these so-called “journalists” were more than happy to go along with the Biden White House’s talking points that the then-president had nothing to do with his son Hunter’s business affairs — despite former business associates, IRS and FBI whistleblowers, bank records, text messages, emails, reporting from a “highly credible” informant, written checks, and even Joe himself indicating otherwise.
“There’s no proof that Hunter making bank from business associates is about selling access to his father,” or so the phony media narrative went.
But if what the media said is true (it’s not), then how are Americans supposed to square Hunter’s newfound money problems?
On Thursday, the New York Post reported on a recent court filing by the younger Biden’s attorneys revealing that their client is in a deep financial hole. According to the report, “The embattled former first son, 55, said he has managed to sell just one piece of art … since December 2023” that was priced at $36,000 — a measly amount when compared to the roughly $1.5 million Hunter amassed throughout his dad’s 2020 campaign and subsequent presidency.
The filings — which request the court to drop Hunter’s “laptop hacking lawsuit” against a former Trump administration official — also reportedly revealed that sales for the former First Son’s 2021 memoir, Beautiful Things, have also plummeted by more than 50 percent over the course of 2023.
“Given the positive feedback and reviews of my artwork and memoir, I was expecting to obtain paid speaking engagements and paid appearances, but that has not happened,” said Hunter, whose lawyers disclosed that their client “has suffered a significant downturn in his income and has significant debt in the millions of dollars range.”
So, what exactly happened in late 2023 that precipitated Hunter’s sudden financial woes?
For those who recall, December 2023 was the month in which Special Counsel David Weiss levied nine federal charges against Joe’s son for tax-related crimes. However, as The Federalist’s Tristan Justice noted, these charges did not include anything related to foreign-influence peddling activities that could implicate his father and came “more than four months after a plea deal [sought by his dad’s Justice Department] was derailed by a federal judge.”
By that point, congressional Republicans had uncovered troves of records implicating Joe and Hunter in the Biden family’s business dealings. For all intents and purposes, the indictment was nothing more than a slap on the wrist to cover up Joe’s involvement in his family’s operations.
But Hunter’s ability to sell the Biden family “brand” and access to his father to potential foreign business partners would only deteriorate from there.

The newly unearthed photos of the Bidens meeting with Hunter’s Chinese business associates renews scrutiny of an email exchange previously reported by Fox News Digital. The 2014 email exchange reveals Hunter Biden once said he would be “happy” to introduce his business associates to a top Chinese Communist Party official to discuss potential investments after that official allegedly sat at Hunter’s table during a 2013 dinner in Beijing to welcome his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden.
Hunter’s 2014 email exchange with James Bulger referred to the same China trip referenced in the America First Legal press release.

By releasing photos of Biden meeting Hunter's business asspciates only after the election, NARA here is engaged in felony election interference. All involved should be prosecuted, convicted, imprisoned, stripped of their pensions, etc.
One of the biggest stories being missed by “journalists” on both sides is Dollar Hunter in South Africa.
He is there because the South African “extradition” laws are a joke. He cannot be touched in SA and these “sharp” journalists write about Dollar Hunter turning in his law license like it was a turning point in American history.
Dollar Hunter is afraid the bull shiite “pardon Crime Boss Joey gave him won’t hold up so he is hiding in South Africa.
I’m sure he married his wife because he loved her. Definitely not because her home country is a safe place for American criminals to hide.
