Seriously, there is a tax on everything.

The one difference is Israel doesn’t single out the USA for disfavored treatment. It’s treated the same as everyone, inside and out.

Ironically, this will probably make USA goods cheaper than anyone’s goods in Israel.

Most countries with low civilian firearm ownership don't bother with tariffs on ammo. Ammo is often produced domestically, supported by laws that require government agencies to use only domestically produced ammunition.

The few civilians who want to purchase uncommon ammunition that's not produced domestically don't purchase enough to be worth the effort of hammering out tariffs.

Only Israeli tariffs on US products are on some agricultural/food products. Israelis are very highly taxed every which way, and Israel’s ag probably doesn’t need protection any more.
