Polic arrested Jonatan Urich and Eli Feldstein, top aides to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as suspects in the so-called Qatargate scandal on Monday, just as the attorney general ordered the police to summon the premier for testimony in the ongoing probe.
Netanyahu left the Tel Aviv District Court Monday morning, cutting short his criminal trial on corruption charges, to give testimony to the Israel Police's Lahav 433 major crimes unit regarding the alleged unlawful financial ties between his senior staffers and Qatar.
He returned to Jerusalem and was reportedly to be questioned on Monday afternoon at the Prime Minister's office...

But getting back to Israel the Left linking Netanyahu to Qatar to take him down.
These aren't disconnected dots. The Isreali Left is arguably more radical than the American Left.
The Israeli deep state has a tighter grip on power than the American deep state.
All are marching together with the EuroLeft and the rest of the international left.
The Israeli Left is always on the edge of national suicide, This has been true since 1993 and the Oslo Peace Accords that let in a PLO/HAMAS/Jihad Trojan Horse into the Land of Israel.
It has been downhill ever since especially when the Israeli Left CONCEPTZIA” (or guiding motive, Modus Operandi and incorrect comprehension of what the Arabs want has resulted in the murder of many thousands of Israeli Jews since 1993.
More Jews die during Left-backed “Peace Processes” than times of war.
The Israeli Deep State is powerful and with unlimited resources.
Georgescu, Romania
Le Pen, France
Netanyahu, Israel (?)
AfD, Germany (?)
All victims or potential victims of Far-Left Lawfare.
But you have:
47th President of the USA, Donald J Trump!!!!!
What a fighter and winner!
Definitely more rabid in Israel. Truly, all the same astro turf organizations creating the outrage around the world.
The courts in Israel can force Netanyahu to testify endlessly. It is what happens when the courts have supremacy over the leadership.
Some might even say that the Israeli deep state has a tighter grip on US POWER than the US deepstate.
There's a lot to unpack in that sentence.
The internal conflict in Israel is something I have focused on deeply over the weekend.
People out there talking ‘civil war’ on the Left and I’m sure Donald Trump is riding shotgun with Bibi right now.
Netanyahu will fight like hell he already took out Hezbollah in Lebanon in the midst of this Trump got Yemen to shoot at Israel and hopes to trigger Iran into attacking Israel so Netanyahu can distract from this be a ‘war leader’.
But I have posted about other matters namely Turkey I wonder if Israel will end up doing something about Erdogan so Bibi can ‘change the subject’ again from Leftist accusations of corruption.
Qatar is a strange place. Like the Switzerland of the 20th century. They have their own affinities, but will do business with everyone. Israel and Hamas. Iran and Iraq. Pakistan and India.
Don’t forget the Taliban also Turkey close thousands of Turkish soldiers on Qatari soil.
You give Israel too much credit. For sure they punch above their weight but they don’t run the world The people of Turkey have plenty of reason to be pissed off. Erdogan uses Israel/Hamas conflict to distract his own people from the fact that their currency has dropped 90% and the EU won’t let them into their club etc. The Turks and the Persians both want new leadership. The people of Iran don’t want to see their women beaten to death for wearing the wrong scarf. Syrian rebels with Turkish help ran off the 65 year long Assad dynasty (and the Baath party had been in charge longer) and I don’t think I’m gonna like this new guy much either but Assad was literally dropping barrels of lit gasoline on his people. That couldn’t have lasted long. It’s a rough neighborhood. Every leader in the region is on edge. This is pretty much just an aftershock from the Arab spring. Even Egypt fell in the first one (but the military took it back a year later). This second wave could be bigger.
I remember that chainsaw chutzpah speech of Netanyahu right before the pagers blew up in Beirut. So don’t underestimate.
Qatar!...Qatar!...Qatar!.....................
True enough. They are a small country and have some very intelligent and inventive people. They have to be clever to survive, they are otherwise totally outnumbered.
But still even with 2 years of war now they have about 80,000 people displaced from their homes in the north. Hard to stop mortar attacks.
Most of it really is Iran’s meddling. The three H club - Hamas and Hezbullah and Houthis - are all funded and trained and equipped by Iran. How could Israel neutralize 150,000 rockets pointed at their country? Blow off the hands of the people on the triggers. It was brilliant. Perhaps cruel but probably saved a lot of lives on both sides. That pager attack allowed Israel to go in and bomb the missiles, knowing they couldn’t be fired for at least a few months. If Israel didn’t do pager attack and tried to bomb the missile caches Hezbullah would have launched tens of thousands of them.
Now if this new leader in Syria is serious about keeping Iran out, that part of the region has a chance at peace. No more Iranian weapons into or through Syria and into Lebanon. Maybe one day soon the Lebanese people will get to control their own country (it’s a messy place too, the politicians and bankers plundered everything).
Now you do have a point about Turkey. Turkey wants to move in and take Syrian land. In return Israel has taken a buffer in Syria too, south of Damascus. So while the Turks have plenty of reason to be angry at Erdogan, I wouldn’t put it past Israel to be also agitating in some ways. Same with the CIA and European intelligence.
Obviously Judas had other relatives, they are the Jewish Left. Also see what’s happening, they want to take out Netanyahu took out La Pen with lawfare, tried to get Trump, took out Romanian presidential front runner probably going for Italy and Hungary next.
