It seems that the Senior Associate Editor at Atlantic magazine, Saahil Desai, was not aware of how much he revealed about leftist intolerance of political diversity to the point of seeming absolutely demented when he wrote a story about an experiment he conducted. He decided to drive around the Washington D.C. area for a day in a Tesla Cybertruck in order to see what reactions it would inspire.
The result of his experiment will probably not be pleasing to many Atlantic readers due to the discomfort caused by Desai holding up an inadvertent mirror revealing their toxic attitudes. Oh, and Desai's praise for the Tesla Cybertruck will probably make them even less happy.

I wonder how good a ‘Technical’ a Cybertruck would make?
LOL! Too funny! Wonder if he still has a job writing for Atlantic 😆

DC is like the privileged province in Hunger Games.
A ‘Technical’ Cybertruck would need a Gauss Gun. . . (evil grin)..
And a pair of Dilthium crystals.
Elon, she kenna take na moire !! ;)
90% or more of Tesla owners are affluent, white liberals, proving that everyone hates affluent, white liberals, even other liberals. Also, liberals resent anyone who can afford an $80K vehicle and even liberals hate EVs.
That’s why I now usually refer to DC as the Capitol District. Seems an insult to the memory of George Washington to refer to it by his name in its current state.
He mentions the “Mount Pleasant” district. That is where I grew up, till the age of 15. My parents paid $20K for a house. They lived there for 20 years. Then the 1968 riots happened. They felt they were fortunate to sell their home for $20K. A few decades later, visiting relatives said it was worth about $400K.
I just went to Zillow: $1.2M for a house on the same street: “GOOD BONES IN THE NEED OF RENOVATIONS; You can design this property into your dream home. The seller has available a full set of renovation drawings.”
I wonder how much renovations would cost.
