Considering the source - The Wall Street Journal is NOT a MAGA-friendly agency, and they seek small cracks and fissures in the facade of Team Trump, exploiting and magnifying what they perceive to be flaws or contradictions. Bad press by any measure.
Mike Waltz is not the monster and the incompetent he is portrayed as being. It may be a matter of a not-quite-right fit of man to the job, but again, many who have had a position thrust upon them can adjust after a few false starts and near missteps, and rise far above original expectations.
Gratuitous ad hominem is all you got.
You know what the other two words are.
Unsourced? Trump saying there was a security crisis?
This seems like Fake News.
No one should be fired, at least in the short term, over the Atlantic article. To do so would only embolden the Dems to go after additional scalps. Say what you want about the Democrats, but they have always circled the wagons and protected their own for transgressions far greater than this. It's time we took a page from their playbook and protected our people as well.
The deeper scandal is that Federal Government IT is so corrupt, incompetent, and obsolescent that even the National Security Advisor and Secretary of Defense cannot get a convenient, reliable, secure way to talk. And don’t believe any of the BS about well Signal is encrypted. That’s not what one means in military encrypted communications. If it is automatically decrypted for an unauthorized uncleared recipient the security is trash. The problem is that none of government CIOs, nor their procurement contract officers nor their corrupt deeepstate inside the beltway contractors can do any better. Any replace will take ten years, plus another ten years of delays with cost overruns of multiples of the original contract bid.
It’s a national scandal and that is before one talks about where the CIA and NSA are on this issue.

Before the election you where on here championing every negative poll against Trump. Dude she lost get over it and try rebuilding your party to at least acknowledge what a woman is.
Fire him over the Memorial Day weekend.
Soon after Signalgate started I heard Kennedy blame Waltz on The Five show stating that he was under orders to get Pete Hegseth. What? Maybe that girl is smarter than I thought .
I'm saying that LL has brought out serious questions about who he, Waltz, hired for his staff, possibly people mixed up with Dick Cheney and his lot, and also our good buddy Milt Romley and other GOP-e types.
My own personal suspicion is that Trump and his advisors are playing it cool for now, until the technical people can find whatever backdoor exists in Signal, OR NOT, which might be a bigger issue than some cabinet secretary having an asshole Chinese mole on his staff. But that's just what I suspect. No one told me that, I just suspect it.
Some asshole mole can be covered up and dealt with in due time, but a messaging app with a back door in it would portend badly in a cloak n' dagger sort of way...
2016 videos aren’t enough. Even Vance had godawaful things to say about Trump since then, and he isn’t alone. But Waltz was always the Sesame Street “which one here does not belong?” among the nominees, and I disliked the pick (along w Bondi) from the start. Trump may have to keep Waltz around now to save face, but he should distribute his workload around as a punishment, and sack him by year’s end.
“strongly believe that Waltz staffer Alex Wong is the culprit here. That dude is married to a Jan6 prosecutor who was AUSA under Obama and Biden’s terms, and is connected to Covington & Burling LLP, one of the deep state law firms in D.C. that Trump just stripped of security clearances.
Trump, as is his usual, appointed Wong to be Principal Deputy National Security Advisor last November. Trump keeps picking bad staff, this is a re-occurring theme with him.” -D
I've been a Trump supporter since 2016. If you'd troubled yourself to have a look at my posting history you'd be able to see that.
So you're not only full of shit, you're also lazy and you're stupid too because you don't know the difference in Waltz and Walz.
“,,,it was having the Atlantic magazine’s editor in chief Jeffrey Goldberg’s number in his phone and inadvertently adding him to the conversation.”
Is this confirmed? Didn’t Waltz say he didn’t have his contact and never had any dealings with him?
FReegards
Rs appear to be losing their stiff spine...
...buck up idiots
Gee. People leaping right into bed with The Wall Street Journal and their unnamed sources.
This is unexpected.
Not.
Let me help you out here. You've clearly mistaken me for someone else who has been trolling you about drunk flippin' Kamala, of all things. Now you only embarrass yourself with more of your stupid ad hominem attacks against me just because you want to bicker over something and have the last word.
So, go ahead and have the last word but after that I'd appreciate it if you not post to me any more. I'm just trying to have a nice Sunday evening and I have no use for mindless, fact-free, FOS ad hominem attacks like yours.
So I was correct have a nice day.
