RIP.
I’ve met and spoken to him many times. He loved to bring his corvettes to the local car shows.
He was a true professional, very entertaining as well as knowledgeable.
On to remembrances...Back in the 90's, Quinn and Rose did a "Think Tank" on Thursday nights at a local bar, where we could get together, talk and have a beer and a cigar and some pretty good wings. Some buddies and I would make it almost every Thursday.
Jim and I would be talking about something and I'd make some half-funny smart-ass remark, and more than a few times I'd hear him say it on the show the next morning. My buddies and I thought it was funny. One in particular was when Hillary did the "Pretty in Pink" press conference, and I told Quinn "it should be Pretty in Stripes". He used that line forever after that.

I feel for you, brother. I felt the same when Bob Grant passed here in the NYC area.

Rest In Peace, Jim Quinn.

The bar, Gas, Out?
You can’t be stupider than that!
No time for weak comedy!

Loved listening to Quinn and Rose in the morning show when I lived in Pittsburgh. Jim was very knowledgeable and his show was quite informative. Sad to hear this.

I met Rose at a CPac in Florida a few years ago. Always loved Quinn. His humor and insight will be sorely missed in the voices of conservatism.

I loved his show. I’ve been a member of his show for years. Started listening to him on the radio when stationed outside of Pittsburgh back in the late 90’s. Met him once. He was great. RIP brother.

Thank you for letting us know. I’d been following his progress on their facebook page, The War Room with Quinn and Rose.
My wife and I have listened to Jim for 30 years, back in the Clinton years.
He was always ahead of the curve.
God Bless his family and Rose and her family.

Didn’t know him, but I feel your loss. These wonderful talents played a key role in getting our country back on track.

Sorry, no disrespect to the guy.
It’s just one of my pet peeves, this euphemistic language - we can’t even say “passed away” - can’t even bear to say “away”.
Sorry this man died, whoever he was!

Biker Joe; you must be my brother from another mother... I bought Jim’s Harley jackets from him for my sons who are also Harley fanatics, just before Christmas. I’ve been keeping in touch with Rose since Jim went in for surgery, but I had not heard that he passed. We’ll miss him SO much.

WOW! Talk about a small world! Yes, we will miss him, but like Rush, we have his legacy. Since I'm a subscriber, I've been on the warroom site downloading as many archived shows as I have time to do.

I am at a loss .... Quinn was like no other. I’ve listened to Jim nearly daily since 1998 and he would always go where others wouldn’t - he often said the quiet part out loud. I’ve often wondered who his sources were because he talked about things that no one else was, either 6 months ahead of others or the only one that would talk about things others wouldn’t.
I tried to read Rose’s testimony to my wife and couldn’t do it, this really hurts. I loved Jim and his death definitely leaves a hole in my heart.
Rest in peace, Jim so will be greatly missed.

We’ve had a legacy of great radio hosts here in Pittsburgh: Rege Cordic, Rush, and now Quinn. All are missed.
God bless Jim, R I P!
