The District Courts are terrible and lawless for the most part.

In addition to just firing them the administration has four other ways to get rid of probationary federal employees:

—Eliminate branch, division, buildings/locations and even agency
—Reorganize within an agency and eliminate jobs
—Reduction in force
—Detailing them to brutal locations—central Africa, Antarctica, Aleutian Islands etc.

I have been following some of the federal employees discussion groups—the probationary employees know they are doomed one way or the other.

Although everyone has a right of appeal to the intermediate courts, it costs a lot of money to do so in significant cases. It’s also a necessary step to get a trial record if you plan to ask for Supreme Court review.
