WASHINGTON — President Trump spoke Friday with Canada’s new prime minister as the US prepares to slap 25% tariffs on all Canadian imports — and referred to Mark Carney by his title, dropping the “governor” moniker he applied to predecessor Justin Trudeau.

“I just finished speaking with Prime Minister Mark Carney, of Canada,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“It was an extremely productive call, we agree on many things, and will be meeting immediately after Canada’s upcoming Election to work on elements of Politics, Business, and all other factors, that will end up being great for both the United States of America and Canada,” Trump said. “Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

“and will be meeting immediately after Canada’s upcoming Election”

so is Trump assuming that Carney will win?

It sure sounds that way. Trump seems to boost leaders who are very bad for their country’s. Carney will be a disaster for Canada. Maybe Trump thinks we can bring in Alberta if the commie wins. That would be mutually beneficial.

Since Poilievre is talking exactly like Carney, it doesn’t matter who “wins”, does it?

Almost anybody is better than that simp boy truedough. Canada is being childish. They should drop all tariffs on American products. And eventually they should ditch their currency and use the US dollar. Drill baby drill, all of North America. Energy costs are way too high! Energy should be dirt cheap to fuel economic prosperity. Even the poorest countries on earth will benefit from a prosperity boom.

True Poilievre sounds the same as Carney these days. This screams loser and coward. Canada is doomed to be the world’s underachiever.

I’m looking forward to Carney dropping his fascination with carbon taxing. What more could go bizarre with another 4yrs of liberalism after Justin Trudeau’s 9+ years of socialism, eh?

This might generate a good headline or two for Carney, but the Tories’ numbers are now solidly within those three to four points nationally with the Liberals. What could still happen is that enough are going to have questions and even doubts about Carney and the last nine and a half years will also come into consideration. And that could in turn benefit Poilievre that good bit.

Canadians hate Trump because all they have listed to for 10 years are news broadcasts from the CBC, CTV news agents in Washingtoin DC, all from CNN.

Canadians are largely low information voters.

The closer Carney appears to be with Trump, the more likely that the conservative party under Poilievre will win.Thats what Trump really wants because the Conservative party supports populist politics and not the WEF fags from Brussels and the Biden collective that Carney is close to.

President Trump is as sly as they come.
