Hochul pressured to bring new FBI task force that targets violent criminals to New York

FBI Director Kash Patel hopes to expand the bureau’s new task force to all 50 states after rounding up dozens of migrant gang members since its debut, and prosecutors on Long Island — which has seen its communities terrorized by MS-13 — are urging Gov. Hochul to roll out the red carpet.

“Gov. Hochul should be open to a conversation about having a gang task force here. I support it. We should do everything in our power to take down these gangs,” Nassau County District Attorney Anne Donnelly told The Post.

“In Nassau, we always work closely with our federal partners, state partners. I work with whoever will help us improve public safety.”

The first-in-the-nation interagency task force, led by the FBI, was established to target “violent criminals and illegals harming our citizenry and our way of life,” Patel told The Post.

I’m a little bit skittish about getting federal resources assigned to local policing.

If there’s a federal crime being committed, by all means tap federal agencies. But are these crimes, horrendous though they may be, really just the kind for which local and state taxpayers are usually responsible?

Nassau, unlike it's big blue neighbor next door, believes in law and order and has gone MAGA.

It's absurd that they have to pressure Hochul about this.

We are overrun with 40 million illegal invaders. Many were criminals in their home countries. Do you think that they all arrived here on their own volition? Or maybe other nations want to harm the USA? Or multinational crime syndicates maybe see opportunity to rape the USA.

This is the first-in-the-nation INTERAGENCY task force, led by the FBI. It works with local-, county- and state-level law enforcement. The FBI can bring a broad national scope purview to provide support that no local or county could ever do on their own. Can local, state or county level understand the national or trans-national scope of these violent gangs? No way.

Sanctuary doesn’t mean what it used to.

Sounds like da bimbo and her girlfriend, Letitia, are going to take another run at President Trump. Maybe they can join together with the refugee Sammy, Ilhan Omar, the Queen of the Desert Caravans, and try to impeach the President’s entire cabinet and have them beheaded.

“ If there’s a federal crime being committed, by all means tap federal agencies”

If a federal crime is entering the US illegally, should any follow up crime be attached to the illegal alien thus also making it a federal crime?

Trump wants to make New York safe for its citizens.

Hochul: "OH HELL NAW."

I’m a little bit skittish about getting federal resources assigned to local policing.

Two of the people seen in the Aurora Colorado apartment break-in video were later arrested in New York.

This is not a "local policing" issue because these gangs are floating from state to state when local police are on to them.

These federal agencies are better suited to track these people's movements across state lines.

Oh good. Now they can arrest her too. I’d throw that nasty bitch in solitary for six months just when she done banging her brains out on the concrete cell walls. Her policies have caused death and suffering g for NY residents.

LOL!! She’s closing prisons left and right. Wants to close at least 5 more this year. Why bring in the FBI to find criminals, she won’t have prisons to put in?
