A police officer is among multiple people hurt after a car careered into pedestrians - and a brick wall - in Berlin last night.
Emergency services swarmed the street in the Gesundbrunnen area of the German capital, near the historic city centre, after what the fire service described as a "mass casualty incident". Several people have been rushed to hospital, including at least one person with life-threatening injuries. ---SNIP---

Well, to be honest, it doesn’t look terrorism.
Apparently, the little twat who did this is 16 or 17 and therefore had no license. He rented the car on his mother’s account and took a few of his equally braindead cronies for a joy ride. When the police stopped him he knew he was in all kinds of trouble and tried to get away. Not really knowing how to drive he lost control and hit the victims.
At least that’s what i read.

How exactly does a teen with no drivers license "rent" a car? Every time I rented a car, even on the company's account, I've had to show a valid driver's license.
