The Atlantic on Wednesday released the screenshots of messages sent between top Trump administration officials through the encrypted app Signal detailing the timing and weapons used in airstrikes against the Iran-backed Houthi militant group in Yemen, arguing that spin from the White House warranted as full a release as possible.
In a piece published Wednesday, the magazine said that it decided that “there is a clear public interest in disclosing the sort of information that Trump advisers included in nonsecure communications channels, especially because senior administration figures are attempting to downplay the significance of the messages that were shared.”
Since The Atlantic first reported Monday that top administration officials, including Vice President JD Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and national security adviser Mike Waltz, were using a Signal chat to discuss the attack earlier in March, President Donald Trump and others have attacked the credibility of the magazine’s editor-in-chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, who was mistakenly added to the group chat and saw its contents sent out in real time. They also claimed that neither “war plans” nor classified information was shared in the chat.
Not all the messages were released — the magazine opted not to release the name of a CIA intelligence officer serving as chief of staff to CIA Director John Ratcliffe — but The Atlantic published most of them in image form. The messages show detailed information about the kinds of planes used to strike Houthi militants and the timetable for the attack. They also show unvarnished opinions from top Trump administration officials on the strategic benefits of attacking the Houthis and supporting European trade.

All Atlantic DemonRATS need to be kept away any buildings in DC where classified documents are stored. They are treasonous and cannot be trusted as we have seen in the far-left “media” this week.
Every classified document I dealt with had a legend at the bottom stating that unauthorized possession of this document was a crime punishable by prison. If the document was found there was a number to call. The finder was admonished not to read the document. I don’t know how this works with the transmission methods of today. Presumably there is some sort of warning.
So how can our guys say that no “methods” were disclosed. The weapons used are sure a “method”.
Hegseth, Racliffe, and Gabbard all claimed under oath there was no classified information in the Signal text (this makes sense since the Signal communication system is not authorized for classified information).
What they should do is to release the entire text before Goldberg does, thus robbing him of his hype about classified discussions.
If Yemen is the bad guys, why did Joe Pedo bring Yemenis to the U.S. and put them in the Army as recruiter? When I joined the Army, if I had gone into the recruiter’s office and was greeted by a Viet Cong, I would have about faced and hauled ... The recruiter in question in this article was interviewed because he had heard about a Yemeni girl who wanted to be in the Army. ANY ARMY. The recruiter bragged about how he went over to Yemen, picked up the girl, got her in the Army and sent her to the U.S. Army recruiter school. Benny Johnson and Glenn Greenwald have said that they believe this was a CIA, Deep State, Democrat plot to embarrass the administration. Just speculation, but that’s certainly a possibility.
When they wander up to the Capitol, you get the DC cops to boot them in the butt.
The obvious questions requiring an answer are:
1). Who sent the invitation to Goldberg to join the event?
2). When the meeting participants gathered in the chat room, who was responsible for checking the names of those connected and vetting the attendees prior to the commencement of the meeting?
3). Did the moderator or security person deliberately allow Goldberg to connect?
4). What is being done to ensure this breach of online security never happens again?
