Kiev does not consider UN peacekeepers as an alternative to the Western contingent of troops on the Ukraine. This was announced today at a joint press conference with Czech President Petr Pavel by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
This is how he answered the question of whether UN peacekeepers can become an alternative to the military contingent of Western countries.
"With all due respect, the UN will not protect us from occupation or (Vladimir) Putin's desire to come again. We do not consider the UN as an alternative to the contingent or security guarantees," Zelensky stressed, quoted by RBC — Ukraine.
The United Kingdom, France and the United States can help monitor the implementation of the ceasefire, Zelensky also said. At the same time, he noted that the issue of monitoring the ceasefire regime is still open, meanwhile, Novini live reports.
French President Emmanuel Macron is considering the possibility of creating a peacekeeping mission for Ukraine under the auspices of the UN. UN troops are notorious for forcing children to have sex with them for food or other supplies. Not to mention some of the other things they do which are even more unsavory.
I would not trust the french troops that much but that is my own personal opinion.
