President Donald Trump’s administration is withholding $175 million from the University of Pennsylvania due to the school’s failure to ban men from women’s sports.

The White House announced the decision in a post on X Wednesday, citing the university’s “policies forcing women to compete with men in sports.”

The $175 million makes up approximately 20 percent of the total federal funds the university received last year, with the payments coming from the Department of Defense and the Department of Health and Human Services, a White House official told The New York Post.

Good news.

The universities are a critical element of leftist power.

Anything that weakens them is a win.

Many of these educational centers have enough reserves they don’t need federal money.

Will they give up federal money for their cause? They have that option. They can pursue their perversion with their own money, is that ok with us?

We have two? conservative colleges that do not take fed money.

The trans movement is a critical element of neo-Marxist ideology.

Their goal is to destroy the traditional family.

Leftist infested universities like Penn know exactly what they are doing.

Whoopi Goldberg said that Riley Gaines should have trained harder, to swim faster, so she could have won against Wil “Lia” Thomas in swimming.

I know that’s absurd, but, the liberal view, is that “transgender” are women in every sense of the word, and its discrimination and a civil rights violation, if we tell them to compete with men in sports.

“The issue is not the issue. The revolution is the issue.”

Once you understand that everything starts to make sense.

That is why Democrat Senators vote 45 to 0 in favor of men playing women’s sports.

They are all in on the neo-Marxist revolutionary movement.

Expect to see these kind of cuts to university after university.

The creepy revolutionary judges are kicking up dust while the Trump tanks roll through.

It looks impressive for a while.

Lol.

$21.4 BILLION. they don’t need a dime of taxpayer money.

Tax them....better still "divert" the money to pay off the national debt.

$21 Billion here..more foundations and NGO's all around and $1Trillon soon collected.

Why are universities getting hundreds of millions of our tax dollars?

Not trying to completely justify it, just explaining. Most professors, back in my school days anyway, get a salary of which the university only pays a percentage (say half) and the rest the professor must make up by soliciting research grants from whomever they can. The whomever is usually government agencies that want to research and develop now tech, etc.

Some trivia:

Federal funding of UPenn peaked in 2023 thanks to Biden.
Federal funding is about half of the UPenn research budget.

https://www.thedp.com/article/2023/01/penn-research-funding-data-vs-ivy-league
The report, which the NSF releases annually, shows that Penn ranked behind Johns Hopkins University, the University of California, San Francisco, and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Penn is also ranked first among the Ivy League, spending over $1.6 billion on research in 2021 — a record high for Penn. Research expenditures increased by approximately $52.5 million compared to the previous year.

78% of Penn’s research expenditures went to the life sciences, which include biology and medicine. The university spent over $1.2 billion on research in this field. Slightly more than half of Penn’s life science expenditures were federally funded
