Remember back in 2022 when legacy media went on a hysterical rant swearing X was finished and would be dead in months?
And Mark Cuban then said he'd buy X for peanuts?
Well advertisers who left are back. Revenues are back. Market cap is back, etc etc.
And that's just for starters.
Don't go betting against Elon Musk.

I think the other amazing story here....is that prior to Elon buying Twitter....they were profitless and nobody seemed to be bothered by that.
Ride on, on the Trump Train, ride on!
X has the fifth-highest web traffic in the world. It is probably now the world’s number one news and opinion source.

Is that adjusted for inflation?
W.I.N.N.I.N.G.!
I never used Twitter
Once Musk took over and as soon as the “Twitter Files” were released, I knew it was time to join.
SpaceX gets my attention. Not at all because of the “going to planet Mars” thing.
What I see, is performance - the continuing attention to studying and then fixing problems that are encountered.
When it comes to Tesla or Ford Motor Co. for an Electric Vehicle, presently, I would probably pick the Ford product - because of some technical aspects. But Tesla might change some things - improve them - and then I would pick a Tesla.
Yet, I am not ready for owning an EV - I much prefer THE INDEPENDENCE of choosing maintenance proceedings.
Overall, I currently doubt the breadth and depth of EV operations predicted. Because, there is too much material and weight necessary for “all EV” (California dreamin’).
So I am uncertain about the future of EV gains for Elon Musk.
On the other hand, the future of X gains for Elon Musk ventures, I expect, will keep him going along his paths.
How much did Elon pay to buy Twitter?
The host does not explain who has valued X.com at the Elon Musk purchase price of $44 billion.
X.com (Twitter) is no longer a publicly traded stock.
In fact, I do not think Elon Musk even releases a quarterly report with comprehensive income and expense numbers for X.com.
Where is this blog host getting X.com numbers?
Thanks.
“Elon Musk paid $54.20 per share for Twitter when he completed his acquisition on Oct. 28, 2022. The total purchase price was approximately $44 billion. This transaction made X/Twitter a private company, meaning it cannot be valued on the public market by simply looking at its stock price and outstanding shares.”

In related news...Tesla stock value cut in half recently (since January)...Greenie Lefties are flip-flopping on their former hero Elon:

I guess there has been major progress since December ‘24...multiple sources reporting a comeback in valuation (to the $44 Billion purchase price):

Grok3, alone, is worth the visit. Elon knows how to innovate.

“I think the other amazing story here....is that prior to Elon buying Twitter....they were profitless and nobody seemed to be bothered by that.”
profitability was also greatly helped by firing 80% of the useless drones ... Musk actually implemented the 80/20 rule, namely that 20% of the workers do 80% of the work ...
that rule was certainly true when i worked for a GOCO almost all of my working career ... and the 80/20 workforce was perpetuated by the communistic way raises were apportioned: it was EXTREMELY rare that merit and hard work were rewarded by higher raises: the drones usually got raises only a percent or so less than the hard workers ...
Helps with the massive Tesla loss’. At least he made some back with this company.

Tesla’s a buy now. People are starting to get annoyed by unemployed ‘environMENTAList’ hipsters setting their cars on fire for climate change.
