Rep. Brandon Gill Issues Articles of Impeachment Against Federal Judge Who Stopped Trump’s Deportations

Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) has filed Articles of Impeachment against Judge James E. Boasberg, appointed by former President Barack Obama, after he issued a temporary restraining order blocking President Donald Trump from using the Alien Enemies Act to deport illegal alien gang members.

As Breitbart News reported, over the weekend Trump invoked the Alien Enemies Act to begin deporting hundreds of illegal alien gang members with Tren de Aragua and the MS-13 gangs — both of which are now designated as terrorist organizations.

The left-wing American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and Soros-linked Democracy Forward sued the Trump administration on behalf of five illegal aliens accused of being gang members to stop the deportations — though planes of nearly 300 gang members had already taken off for El Salvador.

Boasberg issued a temporary restraining order blocking Trump from using the Alien Enemies Act to deport illegal alien gang members. Trump officials said they got the order from Boasberg when the gang members had already landed in El Salvador.

Gill, in a statement on X, claimed Boasberg’s order is “illegal and unconstitutional” and announced Articles of Impeachment against the federal judge whose family has deep ties to Democrats.

I’d love to see Carter Page get a chance to testify against for his criminality in FISA

Boaz Berg must be on the take from the illegal alien drug cartels.

Audit him with IRS, investigate with DOJ and FBI.

The 5 illegal criminal gangsters in the Soros lawsuit were not deported.

So what is going on is Criminal Gangster Illegal Aliens Aiding and Abetting - which is a Crime by Boaz.

Perp walk Boaz. On CNN morning show.

Call the judge before the judiciary committee to give the judge a chance to point out where in the constitution he finds the authority to run national security

None of these judges are getting peach, but it will be enjoyable to watch them squirm, being questioned in the house.

“ Nice gesture but it won’t go anywhere.”

It sure won’t as it would require a supermajority (two-thirds) in the Senate voting for removal. Instead they should pursue removal by means other than impeachment.

Still, it gives them the obligation and legal right to investigate him. It might lead to other places.

TRIED to stop the deportations.

Thank you. I was under the impression that Pres. Trump has "gone around" this idiotic judge and others of his ilk.

Loved the video recently posted showing hundreds of deportees arriving in El Salvador. :-)

Getting past the 2/3 majority requirement for removal seems unlikely. Better to just pass a law drafting Federal judges into the military. As with previous draft laws, there would be exemptions. Such exemptions would be based (as per tradition) on political considerations (presidential prerogative). There is a crying need for judicial oversight of the frontlines in Ukraine and the evident lawlessness in Antarctica and North sea patrols of underwater cables and monitoring the Russian border with Alaska. Giving these judges potentially useful work makes more sense than tying up Congress in an exercise in futility.

I wonder if Boazberg’s daughter’s group counseled any of those 5. If so this is a case where a daughter’s clients have a case in the father’s court. Corrupt.

I also wonder if Boazberg’s sister had any involvement with those 5 people through LA Raza or other groups she was associated with.

Again, corrupt. At least 2 of the judge’s immediate family members stood to gain financially from his ruling.

It does not need to “go anywhere”.

We need public hearings and full disclosure of the judge’s conflict on interest and any evidence of corruption.

The process is the punishment.

Other judges may not want to risk this kind of body cavity search by a House of Representatives Committee.

[[[ Nice gesture but it won’t go anywhere. ]]]

It doesn’t have to.

Do you honestly think anyone expects the Senate to convict?

It requires 67 Senators to vote guilty for an impeachment conviction.

The process is the punishment.

Discovery will be a... b - i - t - c - h.

Subpoena the wife.

Subpoena the wife’s employer.

Subpoena the daughter.

Subpoena the daughter’s employer.

Subpoena the FISA Court members.

Subpoena the FBI agents that lied to the FISA Court.

On and on and on it goes.

You are living a fantasy.

The House can issue whatever subpoenas it wishes. That doesn't mean it gets to force compliance with those subpoenas. Exactly who do you think will hear and rule upon objections to those subpoenas, motions to enforce/quash, etc.?

The perfect is the enemy of the good.

Any witnesses that testify, any evidence brought forward—is a win.
