After years of being held captive by Environmental Extremists, Lunatics, Radicals, and Thugs, allowing other Countries, in particular China, to gain tremendous Economic advantage over us by opening up hundreds of all Coal Fire Power Plants, I am authorizing my Administration to immediately begin producing Energy with BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN COAL.

I live within fifty miles of four coal fired plants shut down by Barry’s EPA apparatchiks. Two of them were located in Ohio’s poorest county, devastating its economy and tax base. Three of the four have been leveled. I certainly hope we can get these sites built back.

Like with the border, you can see the diff a prez makes.

Prob with this is, who’s going to shell out the multi-million investment to get a plant going just to have it shut down if the wrong guy gets into office in 2028?

Unless congress actually adds some protection to energy companies, the golden goose is likely to stay dead.

ALMOST ALL THE POWER USED EAST OF THE MISSISSIPPI IS PRODUCED BY COAL.

WHEN I RODE THE PONY EXPRESS TRAIL IN 2001 WITH OTHER RIDERS,
we weekended over the 2nd weekend in Mitchell, Nebraska fairgrounds. COAL trains came thru every 30 minutes-—120 cars long—2 or 3 engines—24 hours a day. Coming from Wyoming.

We rode from St Joseph, Mo to Virginia City, Nev. 50 miles a day—50 days a week—8 weeks—2000 miles.

A BUCKET LIST ITEM. TOTAL of 101 riders & 289 horses involved during the 8 weeks. Many riders could only come for a week or so. I went for all 8 weeks. 3 horses.

Obama shut down coal plants from Page AZ to Farmington NM. Also many in the South.
He tried to shut down our plant but the company decided to add scrubbers to remove the last 2% of sulfur in the very low sulfur coal. For 31 years there was never a problem with no scurbbers. Now there is a 100 foot tall mountain of scrubber waste by the plant, just in the last 14 years.

Back in 2002 there was a plan to build a power plant in a city not far from Los Angeles. The citizens turned it down. It would have used natural gas.

I grew up in the poor Ohio County and the closure of those Power Plants turned what were once nice little river villages into meth and heroine hell holes. No jobs, no money, no economy, everyone on the dole. It’s sad when I go back there to see relatives.

These plants have scrubbers now...It's not the 60s...and coal will never be exhausted.

Trump has said from the beginning...we should use ALL energy sources.

Clean coal plants produce almost no emissions. You can be standing right next to one
and not smell any smoke. You only see water vapor, no smoke.

I had a 70's era combination coal-wood stove in my house. It heated the 1,800 square foot chalet home on two buckets of coal per 24 hours. (In the 90's that was around $3 per day)

I dumped the ash on my driveway in winter, and added it to my vegetable gardens the rest of the time. When we had to move for a job relocation we left it behind. From what I understand you can't buy coal anymore. The stoves are also banned if you wanted to buy a new one. The coal we bought (pea coal) was from a locally sourced family owned coal mine.
