President Donald Trump, who literally came within one inch of his life dodging a sniper’s bullet, and Elon Musk, who now faces serious death threats for working to save the country from bankruptcy over wasteful government spending, don’t take on these voluntary risks for money or fame.
They already have more than plenty of both.
Their only apparent motivation is a shared passion to put the present and future well-being of the nation above self-interests.
The costs for each of them have been enormous.
The previous administration, and the one before being elected the first time, unrelentingly weaponized the U.S. justice system against candidate and subsequent president Trump, endlessly attempting to bankrupt, criminalize, and imprison him over transparently groundless accusations that fortunately backfired with a majority of voters.
Anti-Musk activists are firebombing Tesla sales facilities, vehicles, and charging stations.

President Trump and Elon Musk have given up so much, and the writer is correct. They're trying to save the country from bankruptcy, war and chaos. Both men have put their businesses and even their lives at risk. We are grateful to them and to those who assist them. They are in our prayers.

People should worry MUCH more about poor or middle class people who became rich AFTER getting elected to office or appointed to government bureaucracies than they do rich people getting elected or appointed to government positions.
Thanks....Nothing tells us who and what the democrats really are than their insistence that Trump and Musk are only interested in getting RICHER!!! Two billionaires are putting their lives at risk because they only want to accumulate MORE MONEY! Anyone within earshot of their words should laugh loudly and see if they get it?? HOW do these people get elected???
They don’t have a clue how “clueless” and stupid they sound. How does one grow up and not realize their words do not make any sense? OR haven’t they grown up? I guess that could be it...

Couldn’t have said it any better. Wouldn’t it be great to see the financials of several politicians BEFORE being elected to congress - ie Warren, AOC, etal and NOW? There are many but just naming those two as being the loudest right now. Really too many to name!!!
