The German government has ordered national media outlets not to show Nazi symbols in Ukraine. Journalists have been warned that they may face legal repercussions for broadcasting any such imagery, it was reported on Monday.
The guidelines advise reporters to "politely" ask Ukrainian soldiers displaying the swastika or other Nazi-associated symbols to remove the "agitation elements" and avoid "unwelcome actions," such as performing the Nazi salute.
The agency emphasized that the prevalence of Nazi iconography and ideology in contemporary Ukraine is well-documented. The recommendation to exclude evidence from broadcasts suggests an effort to mislead the German public about the situation.
And the Reepers will talk about the wonderful character of Russia, like we're supposed to forget that they started out on the NAZI's side in WW2. LOL
But it’s ok to totally exclude the sort-of ‘right-wing’ AfD from political power despite their 20% vote share, by falsely claiming they ARE Nazis.
Ain’t the EU version of Democracy Great!
VP Vance was correct.
“like we’re supposed to forget that they started out on the NAZI’s side in WW2. LOL”
Yep. The Soviets backstabbed Poland, attacked Finland, helped the Germans invade Norway, fueled the Battle of France and the Battle of Britain. Stalin wanted to join the Axis, but he demanded too much from Hitler. Solzhenitsyn believed Stalin expected an ultimatum from Hitler to give up the Ukraine, and he was going to accept it. They’re all double dealing dirty crooks; Belarus, Rusia and Ukraine, the trailer park of Europe.
You really have to be amazed how some people get so upset by some Ukrainians using Nazi symbols that in the local context represent resistance against Soviet/Russian aggression, but at the same time turn a blind eye to Russia actually invading another country, bombing their cities, and attempting to eliminate the Ukrainian national identity. You can know the real Nazis by their actions, not by their flags.
Since the source is Russia Today (RT), I’ll be cautious about accepting this at face value. It might be true.
Because they don’t want it known they are fighting on the side of the only organized, state-sponsored Nazis in the world today!
You comment is peak propaganda, many here have stated Ukraine is not much better then Russia and Ukraine has a significant Nazi like culture withing it’s society. This was actually brought up at the beginning of the war and zeepers (apparently like yourself) assured us this was nonsense, Ukraine has no such thing, well this shows otherwise doesn’t it! Ukraine and Russia going at it is 2 bad guys going to war, leave them alone and let them weaken each other.
Trying to justify those flags shows how anti freedom you are.
Stalin inflicted a Holocaust level genocide upon Ukrainians in the 1930s. The Ukrainians fought against the Soviets for the same reason that Jews fought against the Nazis. In both cases, the other side was murdering them.
Their governments. Not their people, who are also victims of those governments.
Yes, yes. Just like the poor German people who had no idea what was happening to all of those deplorables who were shipped to relocation camps with free showers...or what that delightful sickly sweet smell was wafting through the smoky air around Auschwitz...Dachau...
It’s interesting that in an article on Russian advances in Kursk I read a little bit ago, a Russian soldier was quoted as saying they’d defeated the “Germans” - not Ukrainians. I wish there were some good articles exploring more of the pre-Nazi era Germanic migration to Ukraine and how that has played out up to the present day and the neo-Nazi problem in Ukraine today.
Thumbs up👍🏻 from this humble fellow…
Sorry, that is propaganda, just as much of what we are hearing from either side in this war.
Imagine that!
You sure can, Mr. Nazi Apologist Zeeper. . .
"The elimination of Jews during the Holocaust in Ukraine started within a few days of the beginning of the Nazi occupation. The Ukrainian Auxiliary Police, which formed mid August 1941,[15] assisted by Einsatzgruppen C, and Police battalions rounded up Jews and undesirables for the Babi Yar massacre,[16] as well as other later massacres in cities and towns of modern-day Ukraine, such as Kolky,[17][18] Stepan,[19][20] Lviv, Lutsk, and Zhytomyr.[21] . . . In Boryslav (prewar Borysław, Poland, population 41,500), the SS commander gave an enraged crowd, which had seen bodies of men murdered by NKVD and laid out in the town square, 24 hours to act as they wished against Polish Jews, who were forced to clean the dead bodies and to dance and then were killed by beating with axes, pipes etc. The same type of mass murders took place in Brzezany. During Lviv pogroms, 7,000 Jews were murdered by Ukrainian nationalists, led by the Ukrainian People's Militia.[26][27][28] As late as 1945, Ukrainian militants were still rounding up and murdering Jews.[29]"
Ukrainian Collaboration With the Nazis
Damning the present generation for the sins of their grandfathers? Do you really believe that present day Ukrainians want to commit genocide against the Jews? Do all those Southern boys in the US who fly the Confederate flag want to bring back slavery? Nazi symbols in Ukraine have taken on different meaning than the original Nazi racist ideology. They have taken on the meaning of resistance to Soviet/Russian domination. But that will not stop some from using their use as an excuse to justify the Russian invasion, the ones who are actually pursuing a Nazi-like nationalist agenda. “De-Nazification” is Putin’s code word for eliminating an independent Ukrainian identity.
Now let us see you express an equal outrage against the Russians for openly and officially using Soviet flags and symbols, or for Putin praising Stalin. Stalin and the Soviets were just as evil as Hitler and the Nazis.
Deny it until your drop, zeepers, but Ukraine’s Nazi problem is real.

Western Leaders Have Effectively Embraced Ukrainian Nazism
By Al Bienenfeld
As all wars do, the war in Ukraine has produced volumes of propaganda. The most popular theme is that Volodymyr Zelensky (genetically Jewish but without any Jewish religious or cultural ties) opposes the “Hitler-like” Putin. Indeed, Zelensky has accused Putin of Hitler-esque antisemitism, a claim that garners support from American Jews and the media. Israelis, however, do not support this assertion. They know the truth, which is that Ukraine has deep roots in Naziism, a relationship Ukraine celebrates to this day.
During the Holocaust, approximately 800,000 Ukrainian Jews were murdered, many by their fellow countrymen who saw the Nazis as liberators from Soviet oppression. The Nazis arrived just a few years after the Holomodor, which saw Joseph Stalin’s policies lead to the deaths of between five and seven million Ukrainians.
Because many Jews thought communism would save them from Christian and Tsarist depredations, they allied themselves with the communists, leading Ukrainians to blame all Jews for the Holodomor. The Ukrainians, therefore, were only too happy to join the Nazis in murdering their Jewish neighbors.
To this day, with all that is known about Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany, many Ukrainians still view the Nazis as liberators. The Soviet Union may be gone, but Ukrainian and Western leaders have channeled hatred once reserved for the Soviet Union has been channeled into hatred for Russia. As part of this anti-Russian mindset, Western leaders and their loyal press corps have helped legitimize Nazism by willfully ignoring the fact that they bankroll a Nazi army that fights the Russians.
For decades, the Soviet occupation held Ukrainian Nazism in check. That ended in 1991 with the Soviet Union’s dissolution, followed by Ukraine’s independence from Russia. Politically, Ukraine has had a strong mix of ethnic Ukrainians and Russians. There were always tensions, but the current instability resulted from Western interference, especially from America and England. When Victoria Nuland orchestrated a 2014 coup against the legitimate government led by ethnic Russian Viktor Yanukovych, that unleashed the powerful Nazi element that had lain dormant for so long in Ukraine.
The first evidence of a Nazi resurgence occurred just after the 2014 coup. To deal with protesters, the government unleashed their Nazi Azov militia. The militia was called in because Ukraine military regulars would not do what the Azov did.
Writing at Consortium News in May 2014, Robert Parry recounted the roundup of ethnic Russians who were protesting the overthrow of the Yanukovych government. According to Parry, on May 2, in the port city of Odessa, the Azov militia herded the Russians into buildings that were then set ablaze, killing 40 people. Afterward, reporters spotted graffiti on walls with Swastika-like symbols honoring the “Galician SS,” the Ukrainian adjunct to the German SS in World War II. The Azov military repeated this barbaric action on May 9 in Mariupol, another port city.
In 2016, Kiev, Ukraine’s capital city, renamed two streets in honor of Stepan Bandera and Roman Shukhevych. Both men were among numerous Ukrainians who collaborated with the Nazis, including volunteering with the SS. Bandera and Shukhevych were complicit in the mass murderers of Jews and Poles but are celebrated as anti-communist heroes in Ukraine. In 2019, a Ukrainian court ruled against the honor accorded these Nazis, at which point Kiev’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko, announced on Facebook that he would appeal the ruling. (As of now, the ruling does not appear to have been overturned.)
In 2018 in Lviv, hundreds of men wearing the SS uniforms of Ukrainian collaborators marched in a city-approved event. At least three Ukrainian municipalities in recent years have unveiled statues for Bandera’s deputy, Yaroslav Stetsko. During the Holocaust, Stetsko openly called for “the extermination of the Jews.”
Swiss Intelligence Officer Jacques Baud wrote:
On 16 March 2022, a journalist on TV channel Ukraine 24 quoted the Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichman and called for the massacre of Russian-speaking children. On 21 March, military doctor Gennadiy Druzenko declared on the same channel that he had ordered his doctors to castrate Russian prisoners of war.
There were subsequent apologies for these statements. However, they did not seem to arise from anything other than President Zelensky’s fear that this blatant Nazi worship would lead to Western nations withdrawing their support for his war.
In any event, Ukrainian Nazism is no secret. Western leaders are aware of it. When Fox News’s Bret Baier questioned Zelensky about the Azov Battalion, Zelensky simply said, “They are what they are.” According to the Conservative Treehouse, Fox later edited out this portion of the interview.
The same article includes a notification Google sent to the Conservative Treehouse explaining that it was demonetizing the post. The notice explains that it will not allow posts to be monetized if they include “claims that Ukraine is committing genocide or deliberately attacking its own citizens.” This is the deplorable state of today’s media.
Looking at events in America and Europe, we see an ever-increasing tendency towards authoritarianism among Western leaders. Today’s America is closer to the Soviet model than it is to that of our Founding Fathers. This may explain their affinity for Ukrainian Nazism. These so-called leaders see nothing wrong with genocide if it produces the desired results. Western leaders can ignore the costs of war because the dying and destruction are “over there.” Fatality estimates vary widely, but it seems as if they are already in the tens of thousands, and that doesn’t count the human misery from destroyed communities and displaced lives.
Every American who believes in the U.S. Constitution should be both fearful and ashamed of our current government.
Go sign up and fight for the Ukies tough guy.
