Russian President Vladimir Putin’s response to a US-proposed ceasefire in Ukraine is “not good enough,” Britain’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer said, after hosting a virtual summit aimed at drumming up support for Kyiv and piling pressure on Russia.

After hosting a meeting of the “coalition of the willing” – a group of Western nations that have pledged to help defend Ukraine against Russia – Starmer said leaders had agreed that “the ‘yes but’ from Russia is not good enough” and that Russia would have to come to the negotiating table sooner or later.

“We agreed collective pressure will be put on Russia from all of us who were in the meeting this morning,” he added.

Saturday’s meeting involved some 25 countries, including European nations, the EU Commission, NATO, Canada, Australia and New Zealand as well as Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The eurotwat elite really, really need a war to focus their citizens’ rage externally away from themselves and their misrule.

Are they going to tell us the reaction of Bangladesh also?

Starmer is barking a lot and the press is reporting a lot but he is hardly relevant in this

Keir "Stormer" Starmer is a clown.

He should get back to servicing the imams who really run his two-bit country.

Starmer is using Ukraine to boost his own standings. More dead soldiers is worth the price to stop his sliding poll numbers. Leftist POS just like the rest of them

I find it amusing that Starmer thinks what he says matters.

The UK now has more horses than tanks, and more admirals than warships.

But I suppose Starmer could divert some of the money he’s giving to the Muslim invaders, and send it to Ukraine. So there’s that.

💷

Starmer’s military capability pretty much matches that of a U.S. District Court judge. What he says has about as much value…if you want ignore him, you can.

The key players have said that the UK/EU aren’t included in any negotiations.

Small reminder.

The failure of Zelensky to authorize surrender of the encircled troops (battlefield situation provided via satellite recon to President Trump) is NOT AT ALL UNUSUAL.

It is very rare for governments to authorize surrender. Almost unheard of.

The German High Command refused the 6th Army at Stalingrad’s request for permission to surrender. Churchill refused request for permission to surrender by the Army holding Singapore.

The thinking is the country gets more benefit by the imagery of fighting to the last man vs the humiliation of surrender. Always an easy attitude when the decision is made by someone at no personal risk.

Gee, what did Starmer offer to move diplomacy along?

Nothing.

Russia also has more Javelin missiles ( captured) than the entire British Army.
Maybe as many operable Challenger tanks, too?
