Pass the Continuing Resolution, then start working IMMEDATELY on the twelve appropriation bills. Developing and passing those twelve bills should be Job One in Congress. We should accept nothing less.

It’s always a choice, both parties try to not do this as they don’t want what happens if the other party wins a trifecta. Had the democrats done this in 2021, we’d have two more states, the John Lewis voting bill, a huge tax increase for the rich and god knows what else. And most likely trump would not be president today.
What the heck is an amendment vote? Is he allowing them to change or create an Amendment? If so, what does it entail? Why was no mention made as to the true meaning of this statement? Not that I would expect clarity in reporting from The Hill.
I have no clue as to what he is offering them. Does anyone have an answer here on FR ae to what is actually being offered here?
Gregg Nunziata, who now works for George Conway in an NGO funded by George Soros, and is an active anti-Trumper, worked for Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Senate Majority Leader John Thune, causes me to not trust either Rubio or Thune.
Why are Repubs so afraid of a shutdown? It shut down during Covid for two years and never really opened back up.
