With Drones and North Korean Troops, Russia Pushes Back Ukraine’s Offensive
NY Times ^ | March 8, 2025 | Marc Santora

Russian and North Korean forces have made significant battlefield advances in recent days in the Kursk region of Russia, threatening Ukraine’s supply lines and its hold on a patch of land it hopes to use as a bargaining chip in future negotiations, according to Ukrainian soldiers, Russian military bloggers and military analysts.

Working together, a new influx of North Korean soldiers and well-trained Russian drone units, advancing under the cover of ferocious artillery fire and aerial bombardment, have been able to overwhelm important Ukrainian positions, Ukrainian soldiers said.

“It’s true; we can’t stop them,” said Oleksii, the commander of a Ukrainian communications unit fighting in the area, when reached by phone. “They just sweep us away, advancing in groups of 50 North Koreans while we have only six men on our positions.”

New York Times can't keep the propaganda straight. They should talk to us, since we hear from Zeepers every day.

North Korean forces went back home ten days after Trump's inauguration.

North Korean troops pulled back from frontline after heavy losses, Ukrainian officials say

First, zeepers are mentally challenged and are now posting derogatory articles about Trump here and there...it had to happen once it was clear he wasn’t bowing to their side.

Second, you now trust CNN?!!?!

That’ worst than the times!

It DOES SHOW that without our intelligence reports, this war would be far move advanced in favor of the Russians.

Ukrainian troops are tough...and I dont want to see them die...i want this to end.

But what Ukraine lost is GONE..that’s how the #### life works.

They listened to the SICK NATO, NEOCON and dem voices whisping in their ears and sometimes YELLING...”dont worry you’re doing the right thing and we got your back!!”

So now there are where they are.

Russia is NOT ending this war on the west’s terms.

Whether it’s true or not, Putin thinks this is a TO THE END war...unless major concessions are made.

The land he won stays his, no troops in Ukraine and no NATO membership for Ukraine.

Ukraine needs to take the deal, sign it and move on.

If we end up making deals for these minerals (if they exist and are tappable) then US citizens will be on the ground in areas of Ukraine.

And Russia is not going to put those lives at risk.

Becaue then they would have a REAL POWER to fight.

And they just can’t match us.

REPEATING:

Incredibly, the EU has had 2 years to annually produce 2,700,000 155mm artillery shells, plus all the munitions and material that its neighbor, Ukraine, has needed . . . but the EU has failed.

The United Sates has been hit hard by de industrialization and Chinese competition but the EU has been hit much harder.

Much of it's industrial base is just flat gone and it will take a generation, it ever, to rebuild given the current state of the EU.

German army to boost Rheinmetall artillery shell order by 200,000, document shows

"The German army intends to order 200,000 more artillery shells from armsmaker Rheinmetall (RHMG.DE), opens new tab than it had planned"

November 2, 2024

Shoring up national security preparedness: Rheinmetall to build new ammunication plant - German Chancellor and Prime Minister of Denmark take part in groundbreaking ceremony

The Düsseldorf-based tech enterprise is building a new factory at its Unterlüß site in the Lüneburg Heath in Lower Saxony, further enhancing the country’s self-reliance in ammunition production.

Werk Niedersachsen will produce artillery ammunition, explosives and rocket artillery components. The factory will eventually manufacture some 200,000 artillery shells a year, along with up to 1,900 tonnes of RDX explosive and, optionally, other components for producing ammunition charges.

By 2025, Rheinmetall aims to produce up to 700,000 rounds of artillery ammunition at its plants in Germany, Spain, South Africa, Australia and Hungary, as well as 10,000 tonnes of powder.

The EU is boosting it's production of 155mm artillery shells but the burn rate in Ukraine side is on the order of 5000 per day and 20,000 per day on the Russian side to put things into perspective.

Modern warfare blows through munitions at a stunning rate.

The EU does not have the industrial base to produce high volumes of diversified modern military hardware in a timely fashion, nor do they have the surge capacity to rapidly ramp up production in the event of a wide spread war.

The US used to but most all of our Cold War surge capacity has been auctioned off, dismantled and sent to China- either in the form of working production equipment or in the form of scrap metal .

So America's adversary is a nation and group of left leaning nations (one in particular fighting for its life), none of which are military threats to the US, or it is a lustful invader seeking former glory for his country, against which the US has fought proxy wars for 70+ years, who is now allied with China, Iran and N. Korea (Communists, Muslims and Atheists)

All of which are military threats to the US, at least two being ICBM nuclear, and one that the US is now effectively aiding by hindering the defenses of the invaded country. Ostensibly in order to compel them to accept a peace of submission to the invader, and the primary military threat to the US in Europe.

Which invasion the invader propagated was necessary since there is no justifiable warrant for (2% GDP for defense) NATO and threatened Russia, and so he invaded a neighboring country, thus proving NATO was not necessary. Perfectly logical.

And according to pro-Putin propagators on FR, to be against Putin somehow means you support the Left, as if favoring Russia against invader Germany necessarily meant you were pro communist, and which favoring Putin effectively is.

Paying attention to the industrial base used to be a major function of the Pentagon. Sad that it seems DEI etc. killed that.

Remember when Zelensky skipped peace talks, while boasting he’d accept no terms he wasn’t involved in - then came to the WH and tried to dictate terms?

Those events were awesome!🥸🤪

Mess with your betters and get the 👊 in the chops.😁

“I’m finding it more difficult, frankly, to deal with Ukraine — and they don’t have the cards,” says @POTUS .

“We’re trying to help them and Ukraine has to get on the ball and get a job done.”

“I find that in terms of getting a final settlement it may be easier dealing with Russia which is surprising because they have all the cards...”
