Exclusive -- Papa John's Founder John Schnatter: Like a Boss -- How Trump Is Transforming the Presidency by Leading Like a CEO
Breitbart News ^ | March 5, 2025 | John Schnatter

Politicians love to talk about running the government "like a business," but President Donald Trump is arguably the only person who has ever approached the presidency with a true CEO mentality.

Drawing on his decades of business experience, Trump clearly recognizes that his job right now is very similar to that of a CEO brought in to engineer a corporate turnaround. Virtually across the board, the entire apparatus of the federal government is in desperate need of an overhaul. Waste, fraud, and weaponization of the justice system are so endemic that entire books could be -- and regularly are -- dedicated to cataloging the most obnoxious examples.

Trump and his team have set ambitious goals for addressing government bloat, pledging to slash budgets and shrink the federal workforce by 10 percent or more. At the same time, they're working to pass monumental legislation to extend the Trump tax cuts and secure the border.

As someone who has orchestrated numerous turnarounds, I believe President Trump will succeed.

Unlike previous presidents, many of whom have promised transformational change only to settle for softening some of the rough edges of the status quo, Trump has made clear that almost everything is on the table.

He made garbage-tier pizza, but he always seemed like a good guy. It makes me angry to think about what his own company made him do.

Guy, Jeno’s Crisp ‘n Tasty pizza for $2.00 (previously was $0.99 on sales, years ago) was “garbage-tier.”

Papa John’s is decent pizza with good sauce and fresh toppings.

His pizza is the worst I’ve ever tasted (then again I grew up with NYC and New Haven ‘apizza’). But it was always rotten how he was destroyed over 1 little “N word.”

Of the “fast food” pizza’s, Papa John’s was at the top of the list.

Godfather’s
Papa John’s
Marco’s
Pizza Inn
Pizza Hut
Little Caesar’s

That’s my top 6, for “fast food” pizza, anyway.

I suppose it can pass as a good pizza if you live in a pizza desert.

More from the source:

Trump, with his hard-won institutional knowledge, is the most powerful force in Washington, and his team is taking direct aim at the sacred cows of the Beltway establishment.

The federal government — and the bureaucrats and career politicians who run it — have forgotten that their job is to serve the interests of the people of the United States.
Downey: What did we do wrong? We did nothing wrong.
Dawson: Yeah, we did. We were supposed to fight for the people who couldn't fight for themselves. We were supposed to fight for Willie.

In short, Donald Trump is doing the job the American people hired him to do.

They drew the court members this afternoon. Seven men, two women, five Navy, four Marines. All officers with line experience. Neither of the women have children. So that’s a bad break. There ‘s nothing we can do.

My father always said a jury trial is not just about the law. It’s about “assigning blame”.

Santiago’s dead, and he shouldn’t be. These nine people are going to insist that someone be “blamed” for that.

Ross is handing them our clients. We’re gonna hand them Kendrick.

This is about a sales pitch. It’s not going to won by the law, It’s gonna be won by the lawyers.

So remember, poker faces. Don’t flinch in front of the court members. Something doesn’t go our way, don’t hang your head, don’t shift in your seat, don’t scribble furiously. Whatever happens, you have to look like it’s exactly what you knew would happen. If you pass me documents, Do it swiftly and don’t look over anxious.
