NASA's stranded astronauts finally snap as they appear to let slip who's to blame for leaving them there (Biden)

NASA's stranded astronauts have put on a brave face throughout their uncertain nine-month stay on the International Space Station - but that appeared to slip in a recent interview.

Barry Wilmore seemed to suggest he and his crewmate Sunita Williams had been caught up in political games in Washington.

SpaceX Chief Executive Elon Musk, whose spaceflight company was tasked with bringing Williams and Wilmore home later this month, has repeatedly said the Biden administration 'abandoned' them for 'political reasons.'

Musk has also said that former president Joe Biden rejected his offer to bring the astronauts home early because it would've made Donald Trump and his supporters 'look good.'

During a Tuesday press conference, Williams and Wilmore were asked if the Biden administration did in fact decline Musk's offer to bring them home early, to which Wilmore replied that Musk's claim 'is absolutely factual.'

'I can only say that Mr Musk, what he says, is absolutely factual,' Wilmore said, noting he and Williams were not briefed on what happened behind closed doors. So I believe him. I don't know all those details, and I don't think any of us really can give you the answer that maybe that you would be hoping for,' he added.

The astronaut then gushed over Trump and Musk, saying 'we have the utmost respect for them.'

Uh oh! Sounds like he is comfortable saying things because they are true. Bad astronaut!

WP asking questions hoping for a negative Trump stance I would say is safe to assume. Let Newsmax ask questions. At least they have a pulse

If only the astronauts had kicked in 10 percent to the big guy…..

Assuming the guys in space had anything of big bucks in assets to begin with.

Sounds great, but NASA being what it is, my bet is that the sent in mail-in ballots for Harris. Still, this would be a nice thing to fix.

This is a bit of a disaster for those two astronauts. At their age, a year in zero G is not a good thing.

Biden hates Musk, that is a known fact. And he hold grudges, and puts his politics above everything else. He’s an embittered old pedophile who’s mind is crumbling and will probably be dead by the end of the year.

NASA screwed up letting launch proceed regardless of known helium leaks prior to launch.

From the article: ...bring the astronauts home early...

Early??? They're already months overdue.

"Before their delayed return date?..."

Yup—the Supreme Court would probably insist that the astronauts could not be rescued by Musk since it violates Boeing’s contract.

The judge’T.R.O.s extend not only Nationall, but now infinitely into outer space as well?
Reminds me how that Star Registry company claimed to name a far-off star for a loved one if you just paid them some money up front.

“DC Judge says leave them stranded.”

*************

Don’t give them any ideas. Their increasingly expansive rulings seem to be without bounds so the nation’s space program could be their next target.
