As of 2024, Norway hadn’t yet budgeted 2% of their GDP to their own defense that all NATO members agreed to in 2014. In 2024, they proposed an increase over a 12 year period, but I have no idea if that plan was ever approved. So as far as I can tell, they are still behind on their own defense spending. They’ve been in NATO since 1949.
