That sounds like a chunk of money until you compare it to a $2T annual deficit.
Every department has “little chunks” of money to be saved.
Fortunately for us there are a ridiculous number of federal departments.

Every single dollar was appropriated, at some point, by our own Congress. There’s no crime just because we don’t like it, and the solution is to not fund those items again.
I suspect the connections will eventually lead to much of this supposed “waste and corruption” being quietly ignored and the funding restored.
