What we are finding out is disturbing and needs to be dealt with harshly. Indictments and prosecutions need to be the next step in all of this. Real indictments and real prosecutions that lead to punishment for their crimes. Singling out one or more and offering immunity will help nail all the others in mass. DOGE is doing the accountability work that congress should have been doing. Congress has a so-called Government Accountability Office to do things like scrutinize/monitor the effectiveness of government spending but they failed to do it.
Congress has no idea where the money they authorize goes. And now some of them are complaining about DOGE uncovering vast amounts of waste, fraud, abuse and outright corruption.
You just know that 90% of this money was going to wind up in someone’s pocket.
