ST. CLOUD, Minn. — A nationwide search is underway for two men accused of sexually assaulting a St. Cloud State University (SCSU) student after forcing their way into her dorm room on Nov. 1, 2024.
According to court complaints, a female student told police she encountered two unknown men in her dorm hall between 2 and 3 a.m. while walking to her room. The victim told authorities the men, later identified by a public safety officer and surveillance footage as Dipak Phayal, 20, and Sujan Tamang, 19, pushed her into her room, entered and closed the doo
The complaint states that one of the men held the victim down as the other kissed and touched her against her will. Then, records show, one of the men left the room as the other raped her. The victim told police she believes the other man was waiting outside the door. They left after she pleaded for them to leave her alone and go home, the complaint states.
Records show that several hours later at 10:17 a.m., the victim received an Instagram message request from user Dipak Phuyal stating, "How are you feeling right now? Are you well?" She did not respond but noted the account photo resembled one of her attackers.
The complaint states that DNA samples at a hospital later linked Phayal and Tamang to the attack, alongside surveillance video and a public safety officer who identified them.

Yeah this happened almost 3 months ago. If they’re still looking for them they could be anywhere.

The university should not have co-ed dorms. Make all men sign-in when visiting. Force all men out of the door by a certain time.
Minnesota has a fairly large Hmong/Cambodian/Laotian population. Most are OK, but there have been big problems with their gangs.
I would hate to see blood stains on that beautiful coil of wire.
