When Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) went to the steakhouse at the Four Seasons in Washington, D.C. Monday night to dine with (alleged) lobbyists he was a little too loose-lipped, and sadly for him conservative journalist Nick Sortor was seated at the table next to him and heard it all. In fact, Sortor says Swalwell "invaded" his table while he was "inebriated at dinner," and promised a video recap.
Sortor says he has audio of the conversation, but he hasn't yet released it. (Presumably, he's getting legal advice before doing so, even though Washington, D.C. is a one-party consent jurisdiction.) He did, however, release a summary of what Swalwell said and a video of him confronting Swalwell as the group exited the restaurant.

I sat next to a drunk Swalwell at dinner for 90 minutes. He was IMMEDIATELY compromised by a group of lobbyists he’d JUST MET, spilling intimate details about his job and asking for HELP CHEATING ON HIS WIFE.
MASSIVE national security threat. This guy should have his clearances revoked.
Swalwell spent his dinner bragging about “ORGlES” on Capitol Hill, telling them he’s bored of his wife and “only wants to f*ck tens.”
In replies to the tweet, Sortor alleges that Swalwell claimed he'd cheated on his wife just that week. It's amazing that anyone could eat dinner after hearing such revolting admissions.
At this point, we don't know who Swalwell's dinner companions were, whether they were lobbyists or not, or how long Swalwell's known them. But if he'd just met them that night and was that loose-lipped, well, that's rookie behavior.

Those around him are gonna need a whole lot of hand sanitizer, Chlorox Wipes, Phisohex (can we bring it back?), tetanus shots, probably some antibiotics and no doubt several good baths.
And whatever will counteract methane gas.
Delicious! About damn time Swalwell gets his comeuppance.
I hope Eric enjoys sleeping on the couch or maybe his back porch for a while. He may have some ‘splainin’ to do.

Dems maybe you should ask Ashley Biden abt how her father Joey took NASTY showers with her growing up OR the women like Tara Reade who claimed, along w others, that Joey raped her or the other VILE things Joey does that the dems cover up. So dems don’t want a rapist in thew WH. Well, they already have 1 and a child molester too. And check out the Office of Compliance Hush Money bill signed in 1995 with 268 settlements so far paid for by OUR tax dollars (17.2 MILLION).
Dems are upset abt Trump and Stormy? At least HE used his own money Conyers and the dems have used OUR tax dollars to help them get re-elected and look pure while being charged with vile deeds by others. Let’s be TRANSPARENT and look at the 268 settlements. WHO are the elected leaders who were charged and WE PAID SETTLEMENTS for to keep them in office? I bet dems “settled” w all these people to get RE-ELECTED. Just like they are claiming abt Trump.
I did not know if you were aware of this law that was passed re paying TAX DOLLARS for misconduct of our elected officials. I guess Trump should have paid Stormy with THIS money. Just like Congress does. Here is my response to the article listed above. In 1995 a bill was passed by the Office of Compliance. It allows our elected officials who are charged with discrimination, including sexually, to get paid settlements with OUR TAX DOLLARS. (at least Trump used his own money). As of 2017 there were 268 settlements made and it cost the taxpayers $17.2 MILLION dollars. So if they put Trump in jail for Stormy then ALL of the reps that had charges brought against them should be in jail too. THAT is NOT going to happen.

Ok,... I am starting to see the problem here...
One party consent may not matter. It was a public space. No expectation of privacy. We all already knew Swalwell is total sleaze. The guy with the recording is probably getting legal advice and also shopping the tape to the highest bidder. The hotel also presumably has video that could identify the others at the table. Kash Patel or Dan Bongino should also be talking to DOJ lawyers.
