BREAKING: Supreme Court temporarily blocks order requiring Trump administration to release billions in US foreign aid - AP
Sanity prevails, at least for now.
Correct response.
The damage would be irreversible.
Hope it works out for us.
Now, about the rest of these federal clowns and their “rulings”?
bttt
This is temporary pending a hearing of both sides in the dispute. If they were forced to dispense the money they would never be able to recover it - if SCOTUS ended up ruling in Trump’s favor. The lower court judge who ruled they couldn’t pause the payments obviously knows that.
CJ Roberts voted to do something useful? Really? Is he feeling well?
This should be in Breaking News!
Finally, and historically, the SCOTUS reins in one of these lower court judges power trips.
At least for now.
Roberts might distinguish court orders forcing Trump to do something from those that force him *not* to do something. I hope not. Anything in the purview of the Executive is not, Constitutionally, in the purview of the Judiciary.
Let’s hope Roberts is on The List.
Which makes it obvious that judge needs to be impeached, the bias and corruption from his TRO is writ large for anyone with half a brain.
Maybe this is a signal the SCOTUS is ready to slap down the obstruction in the lower courts. If the appeals courts don’t do their jobs. I hope so.
Quid pro quo finally worked out and Roberts is temporarily scrubbed from tomorrow’s Epstein release.
Roberts is solid on these executive power questions.
too much for even obamacare roberts, eh?
Here’s another article from The Hill...
Where is Breaking News?
So, he had standing, huh?
:)
One court blockage after another for Trump, Musk and the Cabinet as they try to do something good for the American people.
25 years and you can’t find it?
