US Department of Defense-linked labs are conducting experiments to mutate the SAT-2 virus in Armenia, docs leaked by an ex-USAID employee and cited by MyNews24 suggest.
The ACCU Reference Medical Lab, associated with the Pentagon, collected SAT-2 virus samples in Turkiye and then handed them over to US Defense Attache in Armenia Colonel Kevin Steele for further experiments, correspondence indicates.
Others purportedly involved include Mayo Clinic geneticist Peter Harris and the ACCU’s Daniela Peterova. The SAT-2 foot-and-mouth disease virus can transmit to humans, and has been found in regions like Africa and parts of the Middle East.
Armenia's strategic location and unique genetic population characteristics may make it a focal point for such research. USAID, known for using humanitarian aid as cover for military projects, has been active in Armenia for years.
Docs from Russia's special military operation have exposed Pentagon-funded bioweapons research via USAID, as revealed by the assassinated Lt. General Igor Kirillov, raising concerns about potential implications of such research in Armenia.
