Press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced Tuesday that the White House would now determine which reporters make up the press 'pool' - the group of journalists allowed into tight spaces like the Oval Office and Air Force One.

Pool assignments had been in the hands of the White House Correspondents' Association - a membership organization for White House journalists from an array of outlets - to keep the White House from gatekeeping access.

If you listened to the press conference, the digital platform reporter who asked the question referenced the judge’s ruling which questioned why the White House Press Association should have any say in the matter in the first place.

In effect the Judge slapped down the litigants TWICE.
