Republicans in the House Judiciary Committee are claiming that a new disclosure reveals that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) leaked a larger amount of taxpayer data than previously admitted, and that information about President Donald Trump is among them.
Concretely, the House Judiciary GOP said on X that the IRS admitted that the actual figure was over 405,000, compared to the "over 70,000" claimed last year when Rep. Jim Jordan began inquiring into the matter.
"The IRS's admission confirms the Committee's suspicion and recent reports that show the scope of the leak was much broader than what the Biden Administration's IRS initially led the public to believe," the publication adds, calling it a "MASSIVE" scandal.
“”when Rep. Jim Jordan began inquiring into the matter.””
Ok, you have been whining about everything for years. You now have the White House, Senate, House, FBI, DOJ, Coast Guard , everything. SO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
MASSIVE SCANDAL, yet who will get a prison sentence for this or a death sentence? We’re all waiting...
The leakers need to be found and thrown in prison. Bass turds.
Names are missing; even from the article!!
No they took it fair and square. Now it’s precedented. Trump can do the same to them
Sorry, “Latin Times”
Getting tired of daily breathless allegations with no follow ups or indictments.
Jim Jordan is the Pubbie version of the boy who cried wolf. Look for another sternly worded letter.
“House Republicans claim” it is so obviously what happened but it’s just a claim.
“”without any evidence..””
Yeah Yeah we all know how this goes, any scandal involving the commies gets a big nasty tweet and thats about it NOTHING happens, same song and dance every time
This is why I’ve always thought the democrats argument against DOGE, that they would have access to people’s personal information, was completely idiotic. There are literally MILLIONS of government workers who have access to everybody’s personal information. I trust DOGE people much more than the average Quinisha working at the IRS.
Wasn’t that common knowledge back when it happened?
I expect the IRS will be abolished shortly before the mid-term elections.
Revenge is a dish best served cold.

Gee, wasn’t it just a week or so ago that the Legacy Media was harping about letting Elon into IRS, because the IRS makes sure that tax data is kept super secret?
Jordan bashing gets old. He is using the only powers granted him by the Constitution.
Conversely, do you blame the cop for not changing the speed limit for you?
EC
The IRS has been leaking tax information for at least 20 years. They leaked Tea Party tax information. I think the GOP “investigated” that before with no one getting fired or disciplined. The same will happen with this GOP investigation.
Right...they leak Trumps tax information all the while stealing US tax revenue like bandits
