To find an impossible peace between Ukraine and Russia we must understand the recent history of the war and the European and American roles in it. So, Americans should revisit some fundamental realities and questions from which to remember before going forward:

When your article start out by declaring an opinion as a fact you lose all credibilty!

Ukraine's history has always been conflicts - even violence among it's own people time and time again. They even laugh saying they get to rebuild and modernize after conflicts and are accustomed to that. Generally by other countries paying for it!

Putin had a bunch of desperate Russian ethnics pleading for intervention.

Putin now has about 100,000 Russian dead.

Relax. It’s an opinion piece. It’s not a straight news story.

One of the fundamental realities being Russia never honored any piece of paper it signed.

Putin invaded Ukraine in 2022 because he saw weakness in the West because Zelensky, among others, proclaimed that Ukraine had been approved to join NATO, and Russia had to make its invasion before the land became NATO territory. If it were an attempt to goad Russia, it worked.

Aside from Kyiv, No One in Rush for Ukraine to Join NATO

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy tweeted during a NATO summit he attended in June that Western leaders had confirmed his country “will become a member of the Alliance.”

The Ukrainian leader’s tweet, seen by some Western diplomats as ill-timed and intended to goad Russia, drew a predictably furious response from Kremlin officials. They have long warned that the accession of Ukraine to NATO is unacceptable to Moscow, the crossing of a red line which would be met by retaliatory measures.

Ukraine to become NATO member state with help of Membership Action Plan – Summit communique

Ukraine will become a NATO member with the Membership Action Plan as an integral part of the process, leaders of the Alliance have confirmed at their summit.

That's according to a communique by the leaders of state and government of 30 NATO Allies.

"We reiterate the decision made at the 2008 Bucharest Summit that Ukraine will become a member of the Alliance with the Membership Action Plan (MAP) as an integral part of the process," the communique reads.

I agree and don’t know why VDH is trying to impersonate a Zeeper, meaning someone who is gifted by God with the ability to read Putin’s mind.
