Yet, at the same time back then, like everyone else east of the Iron Curtain, he developed defensive mechanisms against the psyops that the Soviets were using.
And guess what, he see the SAME CRAP in the EU/NATO, which is why he has NEVER been fooled by their demonization of Russia, or the idiotic contradictions made by the West (such as ‘Russia is toast as they’re only taking 1 square kilometer a week of Ukraine, but just wait, they’ll soon take over all of Europe if not stopped!!!’).
Unfortunately, most in the West never had the chance to develop defenses such as he has.
