Elon Musk’s private security detail gets deputized by US Marshals Service

CNN — The US Marshals Service has deputized members of Elon Musk’s private security detail, giving them certain rights and protections of federal law enforcement agents, three law enforcement officials familiar with the matter told CNN.

It was not immediately clear how many members of Musk’s security team were made special deputies.

Musk, the tech billionaire and ally of President Donald Trump, is not eligible to have a US Secret Service detail – meaning members of his personal security detail were limited in what they could do in Washington, DC.

PERFECT! This was done during WW2 to facilitate private security carrying of arm ons federal property.

Nice plan!

That’s a great job perk. “The Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) of 2004 allows qualified law enforcement officers to carry concealed firearms across the United States. This law applies to active, retired, and separated officers”

So this security team, assuming they have been given powers of arrest, may be allowed to carry across the USA virtually anywhere at all times even long after they leave this job.

Yikes! I hope the security guards have been vetted very very well and very very deep. Scary that there’s gonna be people with guns around Trump. Don’t like it but the most wealthiest man needs to be protected after all the threats he’s been getting. They better be super super MAGA Patriots and love President Trump. 🙏🏻

Musk’s security team is better than anything Trump has gotten from the secret service over the last 4 years.

There is a 10 years of service to be qualified under LEOSA.
Once you leave employment.

Federal Officers don’t need LEOSA when they are still employed.

Like anyone needs to know that.
Part of your security is not talking about your security.
Why this even became public, I do not know.

Why?
Because they are somehow special and better than plain old regular folks.
