An event at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts featuring the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, D.C., and the National Symphony Orchestra has been canceled, the choral group said.
It's the latest performance that has been canceled since President Donald Trump purged the arts organization's Board of Trustees and appointed himself its chairman this month.

Well that’s it I dont see how the world can continue... :)
What a shame! I’m sure it starred bottomless 12-year-old boys.
DuPont Circle.
A friend liked a restaurant nearby and told me that was a gay hookup area.
(He wasn’t gay he just liked the restaurant)
What? They’re not going to sing about coming for our children to sodomize them? Oh the humanity…
WINNING!!!!!
That’s fabulous!
Yep!!!
Saw that, yep. I count it as good because they can’t blame Trump.
But these guys won’t be back either.
I heard the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington perform maybe 20 years ago. It was a Christmas concert at a local church. The musical selections were all traditional Christmas music and the performance was very good.
Some might ask why your freeper buddy sphinx was attending a Gay Men’s Chorus performance. Glad you asked. We had a gay couple living about three doors down from us on the block. They were great neighbors. Good guys, nothing effeminate about either of them. Both were very hard working, standup guys.
They were, of course, miles ahead of the rest of us in doing a fabulous restoration job on their old house, and I do mean fabulous in every sense of the term. Being DINKS with no kids to soak up their time and high disposable income can have that effect. They also developed a front yard that put the rest of to shame, and within two years, our whole end of the block had done serious work in our tiny row house front yards so as not to let down the side. In a rowhouse neighborhood of older, cookie cutter houses, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts, and they dragged the rest of us along. Gay men are good for property values, in case you didn’t know.
They invited all the neighbors to attend the performance, and many of us did.
How will come back from this? Just devastating.
You are homosexual?
Performing at the Kennedy Center doesn’t have the prestige it once did. There are many fabulous venues in the DC area that I prefer. My daughter performed at the KC twice while in high school.
“National Symphony Orchestra Executive Director Jean Davidson said in a statement that the decision to postpone the performance was made before Trump took over as chairman.”
“Before the leadership transition at the Kennedy Center, we made the decision to postpone Peacock Among Pigeons due to financial and scheduling factors,” Davidson said.”
I didn’t ask.
I just got done saying I knew this. Did you not read the comments?
No, but I’m not afraid to be in the same room with a homosexual. Read my post.
Gay Bathhouses can book them to sing.
