SPRINGFIELD — Gov. JB Pritzker on Wednesday compared President Donald Trump’s “authoritarian playbook” to the rise of the Nazis as he unveiled a $55.2 billion spending plan that also saves the state more than $400 million by nixing a health care program for adults who lack legal status.

I’m pretty sure that ever happened. /s Their public pension debt was reported at $144 billion in 12/2024 and now they want to add another $30 billion.

Years ago, we saw the media crying about state bankruptcies due to pension debt. That included CA, OR...and IL.
