KFC is a pale shadow of how good it used to be. I guess a lot of places are.

That’s a huge loss for Kentucky. The business climate is not good for the state. It’s a Red state with a deep Blue legacy re: tax codes and such.

Texas; business friendly. I learned how to add 1 plus 1 in the 1st grade.

Colonel Sanders is rolling in his grave

Colonel Sanders was rolling in his grave when he was still alive and they came out with "Extra Crispy". Heck, I remember they had so-called BBQ chicken in the '70s. It was good, but it wasn't BBQ.

That’s pretty sad. What’s keeping KY Republicans from changing that legacy?

I recall that. I used to order ‘original greasy’ after that came out.

Our KFC shut down a year ago here in Texas. Actually, I was surprised it lasted as long as it did. Chicken was subpar to other same establishments.

The last time I ate at a KFC was in Pottsville, PA. Chicken was worth it, but the mashed potatoes tasted like dish water and the gravy no better...absolutely inedible. They had seen much better years.

Also here in Texas, as elsewhere, they must compete with other outstanding chicken joints: Church’s, Golden Fried Ch., Bush’s, Ch. Express, local brands (Jims Crispy Ch. In Mexia...wow!), and of course many others.

Andy Beshear, governor of the state of Kentucky, said: “I am disappointed by this decision and believe the company’s founder would be, too. In recent years, many companies have relocated to Texas attracted by the state’s lower taxes and business-friendly policies.”

Governor Idiot just took credit for driving a business/jobs out of his State. Another man might think, “Hey, we should have lower taxes and a business-friendly so companies stop fleeing our clutches”, but not old Andy. He just wants to shame KFC for appropriating his State’s nostalgic/fake imagery without...paying an inflated price to be there.

The sides at KFC have always sucked. The last bucket of chicken I got there had more oil than the crankcase in my p/u truck. never been back. Sad, as I was a long time customer.

The sides at KFC have always sucked.

The so-called strawberry shortcake was bad in a good way. Like vending machine coffee, an acquired taste.
