Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) announced that he will vote to confirm Kash Patel, President Trump’s choice to lead the FBI.
Cassidy, the chair of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, said on Tuesday that he talked to “multiple people I respect about Kash Patel this weekend—both for and against.”
“The ones who worked closely with Kash vouched for him. I will vote for his confirmation,” he wrote Tuesday on X.

Mississippi couldn’t dump Wicker.

He may even find religion before next year.
When is the confirmation vote on Kash scheduled?
This is another state that does top two and holds another election. I understand bel Edward’s may run. He has won statewide recently. I wish states would stop emulating California.
He will vote with Trump until the 2026 election; then after being reelected by a slew of the uninformed, he will turn again with a vengeance.
No, the Senate race will be a regular primary and runoff in 2024, then the general election with a “D” v. “R.”
He can still win because so many do not know of his record.
Oh good. Everytime we have some wacky different election, we don’t do well.
